Recently, a small dent has been formed on my lower side of my teeth. It's just behind my last teeth.
It started like an ulcer.
Initially it really looks like an ulcer, slowly, it became bigger.
My friend showed me how wisdom tooth looks like and when i check at mine(the dent) i felt that it's kind of the same size. small ones.
It painful when i munch on my food. My jaws hurt when i touch it. Has been applying bonjela(ulcer n gum gel).
I've checked that there's no teeth forming but it really don't look like an ulcer. the size is just nice for a wisdom tooth to grow. What should i do? HELP.

I've been working as a dentists assistant for the last few months, but I'm still having a bit of trouble paying off my student loans. The other day while I was doing a tooth pulling I came up with the idea to make some extra money on the side. Do you know of anyone who buys teeth and if so is there a way I could sell them on the down low? Also, do you think its unethical to tell patients that they need their teeth pulled when they really don't? I really need the money. It's not unethical to resell people's teeth is it? I mean they don't need them anymore, right?

to start i have a cleft lip and my lip won't close properly, i went to the orthodontist and my doctor said i had 2 choises. first choise i could get plastic surgery (but it wont do much) and second i could get a corrective jaw surgery (it would be much beter than the first) but these are options and i don't have to do either one. if you where me what would you do ?

I heard it can take up to a couple of weeks before the odor goes away but how long is too long? When should I be concerned that there is still an infection? I'm just wondering if I should be on another antibiotic or something. I keep washing my mouth out with salt water/mouth wash and within less than 5 minutes the odor returns. When should I go see a doctor? How many weeks should I give it, after the surgery??
Thanks a lot!

(I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed)

I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday it is now Saturday, the pain has gotten worse. Nothing seems to stop the pain, the ibprofun seems to have no effect cool compress doesn't do anything. I tried to see if I have a dry socket but I can't really see anything everything is all swollen and it looks like the cut is off to the side. I do have a weird salty taste in my mouth (not sure if it is from the salt rinse) and the pain has gotten worse with each passing day, I just cried for about 10 minutes because the pain is so intense. My cheeks also feel very hot my temperature is normal however. The place where I got my wisdom teeth taken out is closed, should I call another dentist or oral surgery place (hopefully open on saturday) or should I wait? It really hurts and feels like it is burning. If I do try to find a clinic, is a normal dentist clinic ok or do I need an oral surgery clinic? Any advice help is greatly appreciated. Also I didnt smoke or spit or drink from a straw however

No...I don't have a sore throat.

I have this weird situation with the side of my throat? It's the wall that is next to the end of my bottom gums, so it's way deep. There is a small hole there where sometimes i get food trapped there, and it won't come out unless i get it out with my toothbrush. So I did that, and the next 2 days it started to feel sore. Maybe because the food was trapped there for a few days? I have no idea where the hole came from and this has happened to me before but I never got sore from it. This has been going on for me for a year and a half. My mom thinks it has something to do with my wisdom teeth, but they only work on your gums, not deep on the side of your throat!?
Okay, I tried best explaining it. I'm in high school btw. Thanks.

I had 2 root canals performed by my Endodontist 2 days ago (just over 48 hours ago) on teeth #13 and #15. I have a fairly constant, dull pain in the area and it is sore to pressure in the general area. If I attempt to slightly bite down in the area (tooth #14 is still whole), it elicits a fairly strong pain. I have had other root canals, and none of this seems out of the ordinary.

However, if I place any pressure, even if just slightly with my tounge, on the underside of tooth #13 it creates an unbearable pain. Tooth #15 does not have any pain if touched or w/ pressure. This isn't my first go-round, and I don't remember ever feeling pain like this.

I had no pain before the root canals (neither were painful or infected; these were only to correct decay that was encroaching on the pulp). Neither were abcessed. I accidentally bit down while chewing food on the other side of my mouth and the pain was almost incapacitating.

Is this a sign of a failed root canal? Any ideas?

..on my last days, just before leave...oh,just my luck.
I went to med. check up then to the dentist, who wanted to pull the remains out....WTH.
Some of them was OK to save..even I knew it.
I decided to to see a D.D.S. here at home.
She was kind a cool and very professional..but had the same options or a bridge from k9 to k9..meaning a 6 unit bridge.
Mine k9s were pretty good though in perfect condition except for some tartar.
She was able to save 3 out of 4 for the bridge but they weren't enough without the k9s..go figure?!
So I went with the 6 unit bridge,5 with one false..No.9.
I having my temp. bridge already for 2 days..but what a feeling.
There is no pain..yet/not yet.
My questions..
How strong are 6 unit upper front porcelain bridges?
How easily knockable out?
Lots of discomfort..will I ever get used to it?
Feels kind a bulky..the final bridge will be diff.?
The final bridge has diff. cement then the temp.?
Was it a mistake?Should I start to save for implants?
thanx everybody..
