does anyone know if this dental plan is any good? i went online and all, but it sounds too good to be true. does it really cover as much as they say they do and you only pay $120 a year? anyways let me know thanks!!!!

First I went to a dentist about a year ago and he told me I need fillings. I put it off and jsut went to a different person the other day and was told I have "deep grooves" but no cavities and that all I need is sealants....what's the deal? How do I know which is right?

Also I was told I need sealants on 16 teeth at $125 a pop. Is that a reasonable price for these? Or do they cost less and is this a ripoff? Seems like a lot of money.

A dentist has given me some medicine to take when my pain gets worse. He's given me the yellow form with the names of the medicine, and go when the pain gets worse.

There reason I haven't got the medicine yet is because I don't want to get the medicine to expire. I rather keep the form and use it when I need it.

My question is how long is the expiry date for the form, before the pharmacist refuses it?

i've had one now for the past 4 days and i've booked myself in to see the dentist. i don't see anything wrong with the gum apart from a bit of inflamation but it's been aching for the past 4 days so i thought i should see the dentist. i was just at the dentist 3 months ago and everything was fine.. i wonder what it could be?

I'm having my wisdom teeth out on October 23rd. I went to the dentinst today and he gave me penicillin to take because I was in pain. I was surfing the web about why he gave me the medication and I read alot about that you should take the penicillin a couple of days before surgery. Mine's still two weeks away, and the medicine is only supose to last a week. Should I take the pencillin now, or wait?

I'm supposed to take one pill(500 mg) four times a day.

between the teeth? So the whole will show the gums, what should I do to make sure that I can get tooth pulled, or what will I need to do to keep the tooth in tact?
What should I do, get extraction or is the gums ok like this will this cause infection. I have dental insurance, but I dont know what will be paid for the tooth, what should be done, extraction?
Is this considered and emergency because if it is, then I might be able to get the work done. I cant go to dentist because I have bad cold?
