NO. But you can have a gum graft, but you must brush and floss daily in order for this to work. Why do you ask?

It depends. Is it due to gingivitis? ( the gums are rounded/blunt, red and bleeding) THEN I may say yes, after a dental cleaning, removing tartar underneath the gums, the gums may go back to its former healthy condition (triangle, pinkish and no bleeding) but if you are talking about recession, then NO, even with graft, the gum will not grow back. The gingival graft is positioned on the gum below the remaining gum. Not to replace the lost gum but to reinforce the remaining attached gingiva(pink not red).

Hope I'm clear.

NORMALLY = NO
WITH A GRAFT OR SURGERY = YES, BUT ONLY A DEFECT CAN BE CORRECTED.
