1) I hate my dentist and need a new one soon. I'm due to go to the dentist in like 2 weeks.
2) It seems like when I brush my teeth a lot, I get like 2 cavities every time I go to the dentist, but when I don't brush as much as I should, I don't get any cavities? Is there a chance that plaque like protects my teeth, or that toothpaste erodes them?
3) I always feel so nervous when I go to the dentist, but I can't afford sedation dentistry. I've had issues since I had to get 2 teeth pulled for braces when I was 12. It hurt like heck and now I'm afraid everything will.
4) what is your opinion? Is it better to go to a smaller dental practice, or a larger one?

In your sources, when you answer any of the questions, if you could please tell me if you have any experience in the dental field, although I listen to anyone's advice.

I've followed all the intrusions to the tee that my dentist gave me, do you think my gums got infected or something?

We all know coffee stains your teeth, but if you dilute coffee with creamer/milk, does it reduce the staining effect? If so, how much? My wedding is Saturday and I've been bleaching my teeth, but I can;t live without coffee! Any suggestions??

I have been between jobs for the past eight months.this means that I have no health or dental insurance. I have tried applying for medicaid & stuff but I dont qaulify since some of the jobs I get pay between $10-$12 an hour.Im in such a bad place, I have been forced to file exempt for my taxes just to make ends meet. well, I have had a bad tooth for the past four months and now it has just got worse.pain killers dont work anymore and it really needs to be taken out.I cant find a volunteer clinic that will take me as a patient beacuse they say I make mopre that $8 an hour so I will need to pay an extraction fee in the $400.00 range. i just cant afford this so I am thinking fo just taking it out myself. does anyone have an idea how I can do this or maybe have an idea of a dental service that will understand my situation. I cant afford regualr fees, right now , my car note , inusrance & registration have not been paid so things are really bad. Help me out with this tooth.Live in Atlanta

I am 14, and recently got all four wisdom teeth out, as well as two bicuspids on the top row. I was told that ice cream was fine, but drinking carbonated drinks could cause dry sockets.

I had those teeth extracted on Thursday Oct. 4, and it is now Monday Oct. 8. Is it safe to drink root beer floats yet? Or should I hold off for another few days?
Thank you.

I bought the Crest Whitestrips premium. You use it twice a day for a week and it guarantees that you'll have a whiter smile. Has anyone used this and does it really work?

Has anyone seen those NEW listerine whitestrips. Are those any good?

I have always breathed through my mouth I find it hard to breath through only my nose. Is there something wrong that it is difficult for me to breathe through my nose or is it normal for someone to breathe through their mouth regardless

For just a very slight overbite and very little straightening needed on the bottom (you know, nothing drastic or very noticeable)....?

I was looking at ceramic braces mostly...

I am a senior in high school. I am thinking about becoming a dentist. Please, if anyone out there is a dentist, please give me some info on what it takes, what are the pros and cons, do you need to be like a genious. If you wouldn't mind and don't care to share, I would like to know what your ACT score was so I could compare mine with yours. What does it take to get into dental school, please, just any info....it will be greatly appreciated.....thank you much.

Same thing with glasses/contacts.
Can I have a real answer? From someone like a person who works with dead bodies as a profession?

You know how sometimes your teeth feel like they shifted out of place and you try to wiggle them to see if it will move back to what your mouth was accustomed to? Did your tooth actually shift to a different position, or is something else occuring that makes it feel like that. Or, do we just imagine it.

My dentist used one on me it showed a red color and he said I had 2 slight cavaties. Funny 6 mo earlier he thought those 2 little areas where they poked them were cavaties the cleaning gal said they were slight coffee Stain in the groove... He uses light beam 6 mo later on that area buzz buzz,I end up w/fillings..well last week an area where he filled in between the teeth and there is a lot of dental work in that area the light beam buzzed went red. I am not sure if I trust these things, for on the net I think it bounces back light if everything is okay. well if you have dental work in there how can it?? just wondering?? my boyfriend said he asked his dentist, He doesnt use the light beam any more.

But when i touch the very top of the tooth with my nail i feel a sharp pain, this only happens when i have either had something hot or cold or sweet, what could this be? I am going to the dentist on fri but im a bit worried about it and also what sort of treatment would they do?

Alrite, for the longest time a gland of some sort (I have one on each side of my mouth) has been secreting this vile tasting liquid and it's driving me crazy. It's behind my uvula in the top left corner of my mouth in front of my throat, I have come to believe it's an adrenoid, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyways, I got annoyed with it and started messing with it with my tongue (stupid idea I know). After a few minutes, I could feel like something was lodged in it. So with a little more pushing with my tongue I was able to pull out a large sized peice of this white-ish looking clump something with the consistency of dough, which seems to be the source of the horrible smell. Any ideas on what is wrong with my mouth, what the peice of material I pulled from my mouth is, etc?

My 8 year old daughter bottom teeth are loose. Not severely but you can see them wiggle I will call our dentist tomorrow morning but has anyone had this problem? They are adult teeth that is why I am very worried.
She sees a dentist every 6 months and was there just a month ago and had a good check up.
