If my retainer does not have solder points is it safe to use denture cleaner?

well im not exactly sure what solder points are but this si the second time ive had retainers...ive had the old metal ones and now the new clear ones and for both i used denture cleaner every few days...so i think you should be okay
but make sure and ask your ortho, until you can do that simply brush your retainers with your toothbrush whenever you brush your teeth to keep them fresh

I use denture cleaner to clean my retainer and it works. nothing bad has happened so far.

Roxy what did the denist tell ya..do you remember..I use the clean for my mouth piece..I gots the TMJ disorder and its making me into an unbearable bytch at the moment..and my brothers are acting like todds..with a capital Tee...good luck..

Nope, it's actually one of the best things to clean your retainer in. I do it all the time, as my orthodontist told me to so so. perfectly harmless and effective.

It shouldn't be a problem....... they'e basically made out of the same materials... but don't just 'soak' your retainer.. it needs to be brushed as well.

I use rice vinegar and it works really good, but you have to soak it for awhile and them brush them to remove all the residue.
