didn't they give you any home care??? here's from mine years back - still works ....
periodontal surgical dressingmay be applied around the teeth. it genreally does not come loose and if it does generally does not need to be replaces
there may be some minor bleeding after urgert which is to be expected. if considerable bleeding occurs, sit down, relax and apply a moistened tea bag over the area that appears to be bleeding. apply constant pressure (bite down genrly) for a minimum of 20 mminutes WITHOUT REMOVING TO EXAMINE. this will arrest 99% of bleeding problems.DO NOT TRY TO STOP THE BLEEDING BY RINSING OR SPITTING.
i wouldn't brush in that area for a while. if you get an ultra/extra soft brush - that would be fine but be gentle - you doon't want to remove the clot.
think of it like a scab (same concept) if you remove the clot it will bleed all over again!

I also got the same thing.
My dentist did not stitch or anything, just extraction and gave gauze for me to bite, "don't worry" thingy.
I returned home and the bleeding did not stop for 12 hours, with the gauze and the changes.
Eventually the gauze got such a big lump of clot, it was around the size of golf ball. As my dentist had closed, I decided I did not want to die bleeding because of a wisdom tooth extraction.
I went to another (public, 24 hr) hospital and got it stitched up.
Leave the brushing to the other good teeth, until it has healed well.

I just had my wisdom teeth out Friday, you have to keep the gauze in your mouth with pressure until they stop bleeding, change the gauze every 30 to 45 minutes until it has stopped, i wouldn't brush my teeth until 24 hours afterward and then be careful around the extraction site, salt water will be your friend, not sucking on anything like straws or smoking it'll just take the blood clot out, just keep gauze on the sight with pressure until it stops, it only took about an hour for me, but i had all four wisdom teeth out as well as the molers in front of them

You'll probably have bleeding for a couple days. Take more pain killers and don't worry about brushing for now.

if it hurts take acetiminophen DO NOT TAKE IBUPROFEN this will thin your blood and make you bleed uncontrollably, your dentist most likely gave you oxycodone or hydrocodone, try no to agitate the wound to much either dont brush your teeth for a few days
