Have had the tooth removed but antibiotics was never prescribed.

no, don't be afraid. antibiotics are described when the patients develops fever or in other cases of serious swelling that can be dangerous for the throat and breathing or for the brain. these are rare cases but must receive intense care because they are potentially fatal. once the tooth has been removed and the infection and swelling subsided, its OK.

once infection is in the body it can travel. dont get why they didnt give antibiotics if it was removed that would have been the time to take them.

nope.. the infection was removed already .. there is no way it will move to your arms muscle , thats a different matter
