My dentist used one on me it showed a red color and he said I had 2 slight cavaties. Funny 6 mo earlier he thought those 2 little areas where they poked them were cavaties the cleaning gal said they were slight coffee Stain in the groove... He uses light beam 6 mo later on that area buzz buzz,I end up w/fillings..well last week an area where he filled in between the teeth and there is a lot of dental work in that area the light beam buzzed went red. I am not sure if I trust these things, for on the net I think it bounces back light if everything is okay. well if you have dental work in there how can it?? just wondering?? my boyfriend said he asked his dentist, He doesnt use the light beam any more.

THIS IS A LASER DETECTION OF EARLY CAVITIES BEFORE THEY HAVE GROWN LARGE ENOUGH TO BE DETECTED BY THE DENTAL EXPLORER, THE SHARP DENTAL PICK.
THE INSTUMENT IN ONLY USED ON TEETH THAT HAVEN'T HAD A PREVIOUS FILLING.
THIS IS MORE ACCURATE AND IDEAL WAY TO DETECT EARLY DECAY. DO A GOOGLE SEARCH ON THIS.
