I've read that in India, children may tease or insult each other by showing their thumb and saying 'thengaa'. Is that true? If so, is the spelling of 'thengaa' right, and what does it mean? I also read that showing your thumb at someone and calling them 'anghutaachaap' implies that you're calling them illiterate. How true is that? And would that be something done by adults as well as children?

A virile, middle aged Italian gentlemen named Guido was relaxing at his favorite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde woman.

Things progressed to the point where he led her back to his apartment and, after some small talk, they retired to his bedroom where he rattled her senseless. After a pleasant interlude he asked with a smile, "So, you finish?" She paused for a second, frowned, and replied, "No."

Surprised, Guido reached for her and the rattling resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly and there were screams of passion. The sex finally ends and, again, Guido smiles and asks, "You finish?" Again, after a short pause, she returns his smile, cuddles closer to him and softly says, "No."

Stunned, but damned if he was going to leave this woman unsatisfied, Guido reaches for the woman yet again. Using the last of his strength, he barely manages it, but they end together screaming, bucking, clawing and ripping the bed sheets. Exhausted, Guido falls onto his back, gasping. Barely able to turn his head, he looks into her eyes, smiles proudly and asked again, "You finish?"

Barely able to speak, the beautiful blonde whispers in his ear, "No, I Norwegian."

Remember what orlando was like back in the early 90's?? 20,000 leagues, king kong, hanna barbara, hitchcock, wild west stunt show.......What other rides were there that arnt there now? what was where the MIB ride is?

'91 was the first time I went, It was also the BEST. Ive been at least 10 since and still love it to bits.

HOWEVER.....

I seem to remember ALL the parks staying open till midnight every night & getting good value for money.
All the shops were 'proper' souvenier/memorabilia shops

NOW, the parks seem to close as early as 7 and every other shop is a restaurant? anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Most souvenier shops are just clones of each other too?

I have no problem with Universal and Disney wanting to "keep with the time" (i.e creating new rides such as 'the mummy' or 'everest') but I dont think they should close down classics such as BTTF or King Kong?

they should give some rides a lick of paint here & there and maybe update a few things

DC: MUSLIMS REACH OUT TO CHRISTIANS - TOP
Gregg Krupa, Detroit News, 10/11/07

Dozens of Muslim leaders from around the world will release the text of a letter to Christian leaders today in Washington that outlines proposed areas of understanding between the faiths and urges a search for "common ground."

Addressed to Pope Benedict XVI and the major leaders of Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Evangelical, Anglican, Orthodox churches and other Christian sects, the 29-page letter offers interpretations of both the Quran and the Bible on the love of God, love of neighbor and other spiritual concepts that are similar in Christianity and Islam.

I was raised as a Christian, and whilst i could overlook the many gaping chasms of inconsistency in the so called word of God, I could never fully accept this aspect of the incarnation of Christ.

I mean Catholicism. For the record, I am not a Catholic, nor have I ever been a Catholic, and was even raised in a mildly anti-catholic environment. But serious, how can you fundamentalist bible-thumping zeal-driven born-againers deny that they are the only real Christians? They are the rock Jesus chose for his foundation--it's a matter of semi-historical record. Plus, if Jesus actually had any true occult powers and magic items, it seems pretty likely they would have ended up in the corrupt hands of the Vatican. Unless they managed to be hidden away by some of the obscure, ancient sects of Middle Eastern Christians.
