Sometimes, depending on how I'm feeling. I guess it depends on your relationship with your mum; I'm sure you get on incredibly well and your mum is awesome, its just that mine has always used swear words to emphasise her feelings, and so I suppose I've picked that up there. However, I rarely swore around my dad when he was alive, and I tend not to swear in general, depending on who I'm with.
As Frank Zappa said, sometimes there is a time and place for swearing, especially if it can get the point across quickly, succinctly and flippantly. However, it isn't a desirable method of communication, and sporadic cursing generally signifies that you have a disregard for communication and/or a low IQ. It is respectable not to swear, since it really isn't necessary. =oD

I try not to, but if I'm really really annoyed about something e.g. having a rant about work, the odd little swear word slips in and also sometimes when I'm drunk. Stupid thing is though, my whole family finds it incredibly amusing when I do swear because I never usually do and apparently when I do slip up, I say it with such emotion that its highly funny!!

I wouldn't dream of swearing in front of my mum neither would my sister. swearing in front of my dad is a different matter but that's cause we are so alike.

I have let the odd "f***" slip from time to time, especially if the topic of conversation is about someone who's just wound me up.
I find myself apologising when I do it though lol

I've probably sworn around my mom so few times I could count it on 2 hands. I try to be respectful in her presence.
