Yes, I do.

As a president, he was not forceful; he wasn't good "presidential material."

As a moral, ethical person, he is a beacon for many -- including me.

He has that right for two reasons:

1.) He has the inalienable right to express dissent, regardless of whether you or others agree;

2.) He is an elder statesman, who has been there, and continues to maintain an active interest in foreign and domestic affairs.

And, he did not "start the whole thing with Iraq." Please!

I've never been a quarterback in the NFL but I know when one is doing a bad job. Carters opinions about Bush or any other president are more informed than anyone on YA. He's more qualified to call Bush a bad president than you are to call him a good one.

As for him starting the "whole thing in Iraq", I do remember the Iran revolution, the hostage crisis and the war between Iraq and Iran. You need to read a history book.

Anyone who thinks about it can determine Bush is a failure as a pres. I guess Jimmy can think that much.

And yes I remember the days of Jimmy Carter, if I remember correct in large part he was elected due to Ford's pardon of another real winner, Nixon.

All I recall is the Iranians ignoring him for 444 days. Mr. Rogers would have been a more effective president than Jimmy.

I lived thru it and it was a mess that should never be repeated.
Double digit inflation, high taxes, high unemployment, gas shortages ( ever spend 2 hours in line just to buy a few gallons of gas ) and of course the highlight of his presidency, the Iranian Hostage Crises.

Carter was an embarrassment.

i was a bit young to remember his presidency but i do know that he was cheated out of a second term by the traitors reagan and bush who are the ones responsible for hussein keeping power in iraq. ever hear of the iran contra scandal. they made a deal with the iranian hostage takers to keep them after the election so carter would lose. then they supplied weapons to iraq to keep the war with iran going indefinitely giving hussein the power to do anything. they got the money to finance it by supporting the contras that were terrorizing central america.

I remember Mr. Carter well. He would talk. No one would understand him. When he was asked clarify a point, he would say "I cannot make it any clearer than that." Then he would talk some more and no one could figure out what he said.
Since Mr. Carter did not say anything that sounded bad, people voted for him. Everyone , but me.

LMAO!! ROTF!!!! Carter can and does run rings around Bush. Just what has Bush accomplished without daddy's clout and friends? Carter was a nuclear sub commander early in his life. Bush can't even come close accomplishments like that. Your lack of objectiveness give you a zero credibility rating dude.

you are wrong!

who did start it? do your homework. your president's daddy started the whole thing. no i don't mean in '90. i'm talking mid seventies when he and his buddies, after making a mess of things in vietnam/laos and then south america went to iran, taught the shah's secret police their torture techniques. then moved directly to iraq.

all ya need to do is a little research. this is no conspiracy theory. these things were reported in most major newspapers. just wasn't on the front page. do some digging.
