teeth help?

i am 13 and i need braces bad but my parents say there are to expensie..... how much do they cost in the dallas area... and does it hurt to get them and does medcade cover it

i got them a month ago and it doen't hurt. as for how much it cost it is pretty expensive put if you have an insurance, it will cover 1000 dollars. (thats for all insurences). you can also work out a payment plan with the dental office.

Braces price range from who you go to, to how bad your teeth are...I would go to several orthodontists in the area, have them look at your teeth, and give you a basic price of what your looking for...my teeth cost around $5000 to fix...that included the pre-brace, braces, all surgery costs, and now a retainer...also medicade may cover your braces, but you would need to speak with them...and about braces hurting...your teeth will be sore for about two weeks after getting them put on and will be sore about a week after every adjustment...but other than that they don't really hurt...

i have braces and they only hurt when they are tightened.. the $$ depends on what you need for your mouth what the braces need to fix for me my insurance covered all but the retainer. but you can find a orthodontist that will take your insurance and it might cover the entire amount

i thinkmalmost all insureance will cover them, and depneding on your insurence they will cost up to 2200 dollars

BRACES COST SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS OUT OF POCKET. MEDICAID DOES NOT PAY FOR BRACES.

perhaps they can take you to a dental college or clinic where they can practice on you
