What causes white/yellowish discoloration on teeth?

I only have it on one tooth and i've had it for as long as i can remember.

from a child I have had yellowed teeth. the dentist told my mon as a pre teenage that this happes to people. My teeth are fine but not white like most folks. It is like eye color and skin color. just born with a quirk of nature.

It could b the spots caused by fluorosis. Sometimes there is these white or yellow spots on people's teeth due to fluorosis which is caused by the increased intake of fluoride.
