You should try to go to a dentist, they usually know best. Bad breath is usually caused by germ infections on the rear side of the tongue. Most mouthwashes kill them (as long as you don't forget to gurgle 'em!).
If your problem is digestive, you could try changing your diet, or go to a doctor that specializes in the digestive system.

Put a few drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush top it with toothpaste, and then brush your teeth. Tea tree oil can also cure gum disease, which is possibly the cause of your bad breath. More useful remedies at

FYI ONLY ABOUT 25% OF BAD BREATH IS FROM THE MOUTH, THE REST IS FROM THINGS LIKE SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS IN YOUR BODY, DIET OR MEDICATIONS.
