HELLO,
THE BOTTOM NEVER FITS AS SECURELY AS THE TOP.
CONSIDER HAVING YOUR DENTIST PLACE SOME MINI IMPLANTS TO GIVE THE BOTTOM DENTURES A SECURE FIT.

since the tops fit properly already, the bottoms should as well...your mouth does shrink after getting all teeth removed and if you didn't wait long enough for the dentures to be fitted, you will need to have them adjusted...they can file them down or add on, whichever is needed...it will probably cost for the service, but it's better than having teeth that don't fit and you most likely won't be wearing...the impression of your mouth that had been taken with the teeth removed could have been done wrong too...only you can tell that by the fit though...

The success of lower dentures depends on the size of your ridge and how well the gums/ridge were refined after the extractions were done...

In either case, they will fit snug at first, since there will be swelling. Once the swelling goes down, they may feel a little loose. Then the 'sore spots' may show up... but to fix that, you just need adjustments made to the denture.. it's a quick visit.

After six months, you will be ready for a reline... the bone/gums have healed completely.... a reline will conform the base of the denture to your healed ridge..

Best of luck!

LOL

Who ever told they would fit properly. In fact I tell my patients lower dentures will most likely never fit to your satisfaction. Only about 1 in five people are every happy with lower dentures.

With lower dentures its prepare for the worst and expect the worst. Uppers are a no brainer.
Good Luck

Save for implants. Good Implants NOT mini implants. Unless you want a mini failure or mini bill. Do it right the first time.

Never.
If they are rubbing, have the dentist file them down, but other than having implants, the bottoms just kind of float, takes some getting used to.

IF THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE IN A COUPLE DAYS HAVE YOUR DENTIST CHECK THE FIT --- USUALLY A MINOR ADJUSTMENT WILL HELP.
