I would like to make flour tortillas, whether they will be whole wheat or flour, I don't know.
Can you make tortillas without a tortilla press?
If so, how ?
Can anyone give me an estimate of how much a tortilla press would cost?

What are some good meals that I can make ahead and freeze for later? I want to be able to pull them from the freezer, pop them in the oven and have a hot meal ready to eat. I bought some aluminum cake pans to store them in, the disposible square ones, and I'm already planning on a Chicken Pot Pie, Homemade Mac & Cheese, Lasagna and Stuffed Shells. Can you think of any others?

I have lots of herbs, chilli, spices etc and soya sauce.

My cupboard contains spaghetti, bran flakes,weetabix,1/2 a jar of jelly / jam, oats, muesli, rice, chick peas, brown ketchup, urid beans, rose cow beans, split peas, macaroni. C'mon, try REALLY hard and remember there is no bread, knob of butter, milk or ANYTHING ELSE for that matter. Oops, I forgot that I have coffee, tea bags and sugar. Someone will surprise me......I just know it.

With rising beef prices, I find myself getting creative w/ chicken & pork. I also visit a farmer's market weekly for fresh produce. I have 3 boys who'll eat almost anything.

I'm looking for some new recipes to try that don't take much prep time and may be fun for the boys to help with.

Please suggest any online sites I could visit.
