Simmer your blueberries in 2 cups water and 1/4 cup sugar until berries are tender. Remove from heat and press thru a collander, mulching as much of the blueberries as you can into the remaining juice. Place the juice in a sauce pan and add 1 tsp lemon juice to the mix. Add more sugar if you'd like and bring to a boil. Add 1 tsp of cornstarch mixed with a little water to form a syrup and stir until mixture thickens. Spread your topping on top of your finished pie and chill.
