What I do is; get some aluminum trays, curl the edges upright, and make a 'hot-tub'. I then put a stick of butter, some chopped onion, and a 1/2 can of some beer in the 'hot-tub'. Next, I put it on my barbeque on a low-medium tempeture, and watch as all the ingredients melt together to make a cozy tub for the bratwursts to roast in. I know it sounds pathetic, and extremely unhealthy, but I only have it about once a year. I just think they're the best food to hit the planet! Do you agree?

Is bologna ready to eat or does it need further cooking? I know it sounds kind of a silly question to most people, but I'm sorry I'm new to eating cold meats.

I switched the recipe from eggs, milk and AP flour to bread flour, soymilk and olive oil and got some very tender noodles...seems like there would be more gluten in bread flour and thus a more chewy noodle...they turned out good, but didn't seem to "fluff up" as much as the original recipe. What is the difference between semolina and bread flour if they are both "hard" flours?? ...Oh, and it WAS a lot harder to roll and cut the noodles with bread flour..

My husband hates cream cheese, but so many desserts have it in them. Is there anything I can substitute that will have a similar texture and a flavor that will still compliment the dishes?

In honor of 4/20 tomorrow, I'm going to see Wizard of Oz synched up with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on a big screen. The screening is much earlier in the night than I usually smoke, however... With my dorm's GA, RA's, and no doubt lots of cops lurking around, I don't want to take any big risks. At the university convenience store, however, I found a Betty Crocker brownie you can make in the microwave. If I add my weed to that, will it work? How much should I add if I only want to eat half of it and I have a very low tolerance level? (The finished brownie in the bowl will be about the size of a pancake).

They are ridiculously cheap right now, and I'd like to do something with them other than just eat them as is or make guacamole. What is your favorite way to use avocados?

weekend in the summer on Sunday to hang by the pool and enjoy lunch and dinner together.
I am usually looked to to bring the dips and apps. Last year the big hit was my pesto burchetta and my hummus and guacamole. I don't want to stop using these recipes, but I don't want to wear out their welcome either. Do any of you have some favorites to pass along to me to add to my collection?
Thanks!!
