Hi. My sister gave me a really cool sushi serving set for Christmas, and so now I want to make it myself. I'm wondering if anyone has any personal tips or other advice. I've looked at many web sites, but I'm looking for some personal tips and/or recipes.

I'm a good cook, but am tired of making the same recipes. I recently joined a book club that specializes in cook books only, and I was wondering what's your favorite book? I have everything from Betty Crocker to Southern Living to Williams Sonoma to Saveur. If you had to get rid of all your books but one, which one would you keep?

I am a good cook and can cook pretty much anything if I put my mind to it. I want something differant but I'm not cool with eating any reptile or any kind of sushi. I also work till from 8am to 5pm so I need something I will have time to prepare when I get home from work or something that can cook in a crock pot all day long while I'm at work. Our favorites are chicken, steak , pork chops and shrimp. Any new ideas would be great!!! thanks

I really wanted one but they are a few hundred dollars. They look so nice and I love cooking, it's my hobby and my salvation... :) Need to buy a new mixer. Is this worth it, or are there any cheaper ones that compare.

A long time ago I had a recipe for vegetable lasagne that I got off of a ronzoni box. I know it had spinach and a white sauce in it but think it may have had red sauce in it too. Had to have been about ten years ago. Does anyone have this recipe?

i have an oven that has broil and bake and convection settings....(the meat is already rubbed with seasonings), so which setting is best, and do I need to do anything else? Someone said to recreate the grill, setting the oven to 400 degrees, so if I convect at 400 degrees will the steak remain juicy or should I put water in the bottom of a pan to keep moisture in the steak? If so, do i put the steak in the water or elevate the steak? Sounds crazy, but I recently broke my back and am not able to get gas cannister replaced before dinner tonight, and still surprise her...........please help and many thanks!!!!!

I had a mixed drink at a company party that was held at a high-end restaurant and wasn't sure if it was ok to ask for the recipe. I've found similar ones online, but none seem to compare to the drink served at the restaurant. Is it ok to ask them or should I just wing it myself through trial and error?
