It's a tradition with my family to toss sprinkles on at midnight. I'm living with an aunt and uncle now, and want to share the tradition with them (assuming they are awake, of course).

We cooked it on Christmas Day, cut meat off bird, and placed it in plastic bags, and kept it in the fridge. How long is considered safe to eat it, and/or how do I know if it is not edible.

I lost the recipe booklet to my crepe maker. Recipes for crepes tend to be too oily and the batter falls off the crepe maker.

It seems some restaurants, Earls for those who are familiar with this one, seem to make some amazing side orders of cooked vegetables that they serve with their meals.

They are sweet, very juicy, with a touch of butter. Vegetables they serve include carrots, asparagus, and beets. Beets are one thing I don't eat....unless of course it is at this restaurant.

Would anyone have a recipe on how to sautee vegetables to get that gourmet taste.

I mean, does it make it taste better? It doesn't sound like it would taste very good at all. I'm just curious.

I cook for my family almost every day of the week, but I really enjoy sugar (who doesn't) and want to get more into baking. And I was wondering if you knew of any great books to help learning the basics of how to make really spectacular cake scultpures/decorations, and if you knew of any average-joe (not expensive) tools or icings that are typically used.
