Vegetable soup is always hot and ready and very very comforting, especially in cold, rainy weather.
Except to Scotsmen who drink Budweiser. bleech! ;-)
LOL you know I'm kidding. I might make one exception.

LOL Don't you know, if you try to eat Vegetable Soup cold, you'll not be pleased with the results. One should always take their sweet time, heating up the soup slowly and methodically, until the soup is at a boiling hot temperature. Then and only then, should the Soup be eaten.

Well above room temperature, if you want to serve it safely. Bacteria can grow quickly in a warm environment, so bring the soup to a boil and serve it very warm.

I think vegetable soup should be served well above room temperature as it is essentially a warming 'comfort' food ........ is this a serious question?

Just heat the vegetable soup up gently in a saucepan until it's hot, but don't boil it because you could impair the flavour.
