can you put a cake mix made of eggs in the fridge for 24 hours before cooking?

The leavening action time will cause the amount of rising action to change. You will see little bubbles forming on the top of the batter in the bowl.

A very cool fridge will slow this down, but still not as good as freshly mixed.

The eggs are not the trouble, it's the leavening (the soda or baking powder). Probably it will be all right, but if you can avoid it, I would.
And if the mix requires the eggs to be separated and whipped, like a merengue or angel-food cake would, then you can't do it ahead of time, the egg whites will fall.

You mean the batter after it's mixed together? I don't understand why you would want to do that, nor would I advise doing so. No professional baker ever does that either. If the cake has to be refrigerated for any reason (which is almost never done), the batter is baked first.

no you can't. because the sugar stops the action of the eggs and it willnot rise at all . You will have a rubber cake.
