I just bought one because I tried one once and it was good, but I have no idea how to cut it right to get the maximum amount of fruity goodness in my mouth.

I cut mine in half and then run my thumb around the inside of the cut edge to loosen the peel and remove the peel and pith. You can then break it into sections and easily remove the membrane arond the sections and eat it.

A pomelo is a larger version of a grapefruit. Just peel it and break it into sections as you would an orange, tangerine, clementine or grapefruit.

eat it like you would a grape fruit.

that's what it is to be exact. pomello's are the orignal grapefruits i believe. either way just chop it up and eat it.

i used to work for wholefoods produce dept for 5 years.

I dont know what a pomelo is...so what is it..is sounds like a horse's name..
