Skipping the vanilla in brownies is not a big deal at all. Don't let everyone freak you out if you don't have it!
Chocolate is so strongly flavored that the brownies will taste virtually the same.
Make sure to add the salt that the recipe calls for because that enhances the other yummy flavors!
Sometimes I add 1/3 cup Hershey's Syrup to my brownies and they come out so moist and good. Huge chocolate flavor.
Don't sweat the missing vanilla this time. No biggie!

Go ahead and leave it out -- this time.
It just makes for a slightly better tasting brownie.
For most, their taste buds will be so bombarded by the chocolate that they will not notice the absence of the vanilla.
However, let the guilt serve as a reminder to include it in you cart on your next supermarket visit.
It lasts indefinitely, and used across many baked recipes.
Should be part of your well stocked cupboard.
Fell free to go without this time, BUT ONLY this time.
Good baking !

Yes, if you have any other flavoring you can substitute it. Just a thought here - if you really want the benefits of vanilla and have vanilla flavored coffee creamer you could probably but in a couple of teaspoons of it.

Yes. A really good thing to do with brownies is to melt some peanut butter in the microwave and swirl it on top of the brownies when they come out of the oven.

Yes but the flavor won't be as rich, vanilla enhances the other flavors in a recipe, but it won't ruin it either.

Wouldn't reccomend it...even though you use a little it can make a big difference. If you have no time, then leave it out. Otherwise, buy some and put it in for best taste.

Yes, in a pinch, you can leave it out. You'll "miss" something when you eat it, but it'll still taste like brownies.

You can always add in another flavor such as almond flavoring, rum flavoring or lemon/orange flavoring as a substitute. My family loves the almond flavoring in brownies....good luck

You can also substitute almond extract or amaretto liqueur for vanilla.
