if you're using it in brownies? I want to make instant mix brownies which call for veg. oil, but I only have olive oil at home.

Can I substitute it? Will it affect the taste?
And, if you really don't know please don't answer.

Thanks!

mom used to have a recipe book from the 1950s, Canadian farm wives cookbook or something like that. There was a great Chocolate Brownie cake recipe in it. Does anyone have it ? The best one I ever tasted.

I have a pot roast that bought in Feb. It said to sell by 2-17-06, and I did and put it in deep freezer. Would it be safe to eat now being Sept or should I just throw it out. If I can keep it do I need to thaw before putting in crock pot?

Would like a real easy idea if you've got one... and must be a real italian recipe and non-vegetarian.... anything that has been handed down generations would be fantastic!. Cheers .. Martin.
