I make a fantastic bread pudding, and nice gingerbread men, but I'm not very imaginative. What do you suggest I try to bake next? Have you got a nice simple recipe? Something not too expensive in case it doesn't work for me first time round. My mission: to make the world fat and happy. Mike.

When peeling cold hard boiled eggs, the shells stick to the eggs and come off in pieces with chunks of egg stuck to the shell. How can I avoid this?

Like me are you finding it more of a challenge opening some of the products we buy nowadays, supermarkets are the worst culprits.
Now, I accept that food has to be sealed but does it have to be in packets that are almost impossibe to open,and not all have easy opening seals, I would think that the elderly and infirm have more problems than most of us.
It is easy to say just get a knife and cut the seal, but that can be very dangerous as i have found to my cost, and does anyone know if it costs more or, less for this type of sealing

couple days ago cause i didn't have any butter.... i know that a stick of butter was involved, but i don't remember how much (if any) water it called for, and how many eggs... aauuggghhhh!!!! thanks in advance... it was a duncan hines mix if that helps...

Years ago I made the best chocolate chip cookies and everyone loved them. Now and for a few years, every single time I try to make them, they just do not taste good.

I have tried several different recipes, even my aunt's homemade cookbook recipe. I follow the directions, but no matter what they just do not taste good. I have not tried for a couple years until tonight, and even have a brand new oven this time, but still they are gross. My son doesn't like them either.

Why don't they turn out good anymore!!!! ?
