What a cool idea!!!! I love chicken and dumplings. Can you tell I'm from the South? Boil chicken for 2 hours and remove from bone after it cools, add back to chicken stock in the pot. For the dumplings you'll need, 2 cups all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 TBL. shortening, 3/4 cup buttermilk. In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add the buttermilk, stirring with a fork until the dry ingredients are moistened. Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times. Roll the dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into strips or small squares. Slowly drop the dumplings into the boiling broth. DON'T STIR THEM OR YOU'LL HAVE MUSH. It takes about 10 minutes for them to cook. Serves 4 to 6.

My fav (and easiest) is Chicken and Chicken.
I know it sounds funny, but it is so good and so easy.
Take about a pound of bonless skinless chicken breats, cut in half, roll in flour and place in slow cooker (crockpot).
Empty about two family size cans of Cream of Chicken soup (do not add water or milk) in on top of the chicken.
Cook on low all day or overnight, and about a half an hour before you are serving it, add flour to the mixture to thinken, serve over mashed potatoes.
Oh, and I am from USA, midwest.

CHICKEN MARSALA - In first frying pan, Cut boneless chicken into chunks or strips, coat with flour and cook in butter until all sides just start to brown, set aside. In second frying pan, melt butter and add fresh sliced mushrooms (lots) and cook until they just start to soften, add generous amount of Marsala wine and a couple of finely diced garlic cloves and cook for three minutes. Add chicken from first pan and cook until sauce thickens (flour from chicken will thicken sauce), Add a small spritz more Marsala wine ( to refresh Marsala wine flavor) and serve immediately.
