I'm finally getting around to using some brownie mixes I picked up a bit ago when they were on sale, but I just noticed that the "Best By:" date is May 2006 (and we are now in September). Would it still be okay to use or should I just toss it? Does it really "go bad?"

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a simple dessert cream sauce. Something like lobster sauce you would have with a seafood dish but a sweet creame sauce for dessert. Maybe using white choc chips??? What would I add to that make it more sauce like?
