I've kept it for weeks without it going bad, and with no change in taste. It will separate a bit, I just stir it up.

It should last for several weeks as long as the refrigerator is set at the proper temperature. There should also be an expiration date on the container, and its usually good for a few days after that date.

I wouldn't just because of the expiration date. If it was only a week after the expiration date I would eat it

It varies depending on what you do with it.
If you dip food into it like chips or something that will make it spoil faster.
If you never open it, it can last awhile. Just check for mold when you open it.

Check the expiration date. I wouldn't eat it if it were 7 days past that date, the same goes for milk.

i would say no later than a week after the expiration date. you can smell it if i is bad anyway... plus there will be a lot of wattery type substance in it making it really hard to mix it up.
