I've never had perogies, even though I'm part Polish, my grandmother came from the old country and I attended Pulaski High School. You would think I would have had an opportunity somewhere along the line! I know lots of people who love them, but they never shared. To those who don't know what they are, then you have never had them, so you wouldn't know whether you like them or not,( yes, I know this is a stupid answer, but it was so nice to see someone say "perogies", I couldn't help myself!)

I've never heard them called Peduha and I am Polish. I love the cheese ones. Not too much the potato or cabbage ones. I only get them once a year at the Polish Festival here in St. Louis. I would love the recipe so I will email you to get it. I have trouble with pie dough, I'm Polish but not a very good cook, so I hope the dough isn't too hard to make. Do you have a recipe for Kolaches?

Perogies are awesome! I love them deep fried with sour cream and chives on top. They are so good that way!

I grew up eating these. As a child I would stand on a chair and help my polish grandma and baba (from warsaw) make them. We also made tons of halupkies (sp). Guess what? I don't have a recipe for them, lol. Feel free to send me yours, I would appreciat it. Boy I love to have sourkraut with them, mmmmmm. or covered in sauteed onions and tons of butter. Now i'm hungry again.

I get the frozen ones in the blue box at Walmart. Then I add sauted onions or spaghetti sauce! Warm applesauce is good too!
