What is right?
The Scenario: Married 1 1/2 yrs. to a man with 2 college age kids not living at home. I tried but never any relationship with the kids. He said give up.
The kids would prefer their 48 yr. old Dad to be single
Very opinionated kids. Very anti-social except with their dad who hung the moon. They love each other very much, and thats great but how much say-so should they have when it comes to my marriage with him. Should the Dad be torn on how to balance his time with them and me? They have put their Dad in a situation, (or should I say he has let them) to kind of pick sides. Thats wrong. He has raised them all his life, Ive only been here a short time, do I make it easy and bow out?

I keep reading people on here talking about sex addiction. I'm not sure how one would define that, exactly...as long as one isn't making unhealthy or unsafe choices about his/her body...

I guess I am really asking: What is a sex addict?

I have a daughter who is 4 yrs old who asking why her bio-dad(Vinny) stopped visiting? Her bio-father wanted to keep the fact that he is my daughters dad secret so he asked if i would refrain from having his name put on the birth certificate and to allow him to send me CS under the books.I agreed to these conditions because i did not want any problems but for the past 6 months he has stopped paying CS and seeing his daughter( he used to stop by once a month).Only a select few that include my mother(probably my dad) , me, my daughter but she's not an adult,my long term bf has an idea but turns a blind eye and Vinny himself are aware that my daughter is his.I suspect my daughters bio-dad Vinny is married or engaged now how recently though i am not sure? His cell phone number has been changed do i call his home phone which i recently looked up or pay him a visit in person?I dont want to mess with his personal life because for all know he might have another child?

He calls her nasty names, has physically threatened her, and still hasn't paid back the $3000.00 dollars he spent on her credit card online without her permission over a year ago. I know she thinks she loves him, but I don't know why she stays and puts up with all that crap. I know it's her life and her choice, but I really care about her, and I want what's best for her. I don't want to say something if it means I lose her in my life, but it's so hard to just stand by and watch her marry this total jerk! What should I do?

I'm pretty open about wanting to please my wife in the sack, and never had complaints from any LTR prior to being married. We have no kids, share housework, etc. We do have frequent sex, but its always like this on her part.....

5 mins or less of foreplay
no kissing
turns head to the side
lays there until its over with

She doesn't let me do anything to turn her on, and won't tell me what she wants me to do to please her. But she'll have sex 5x a week, but its like I'm with a blow up doll. No excitement or anything.

Is this whacked out or what? I know compared to some guys around here who get no sex I have it good, but how long can someone go on with what feels like a loveless situation?

Any advice would be great.

My ex. is “giving” his visitation rights to his parents. He says is living with his parents. But he hardly sees my son. Grandpa is picking the kid up at the airport and taking him back. Now Grandpa is suing for custody… they don’t have any grounds. They just try to make me expend the little money I have. Is there any legal way to avoid the grandparent’s visitation?
If anybody had a similar experience and knows how to stop it. Before I let them visit every weekend. But know that they are suing me for custody I don’t want them to see my kid if his father is not present. They are making my life very difficult.
I would like ideas how to present the case to a judge.

I am 28 and have been divorced for almost 3 years now, and he really likes my boyfriend. As explained in one of my previous questions, I am terrified to marry right away because I am afraid of repeating what happened last time. I just don't think I am ready. My Dad thinks if I wait too long that we are going to have illegitimate children (we practice safe sex, so not too likely). How do I calm his fears about me getting stuck raising another kid by myself (I already have an 8 yr old from my previous marriage and his father helps me to raise him, and is in his life)?

Me and my wife have been separated for about 9 months now and we have a 2 year old child together. As soon as she found out about a new girlfriend of mine, she layed down ground rules in regards to introducing her to our daughter. Basically she said that unless we are married of I've given her some kida of commitment/engagment promise, introducing her to our daughter was forbidden. A few months later she met a guy at a club. He is 22 (she is 27) and she started officially dating him about a month or so ago and since then, she has already introduced him and she emphazises to me how they go out and do things together with our daughter.

I just want to hear someones opinion/expericence in regards to this. Am I justified in feeling uneasy and jealous about this? Should I even bother expressing to her my feelings? I feel she is very hypocritical (my new GF still hasn't met her) and I don't like the thought of some young guy being used as a 'fill-in' father when I'm not there.

I am 18 in March and have been with my boyfriend for almost a year. I am madly in love and we have wonderful times together. He is 22 years old. We both share the same beliefs on Jesus Christ and God. He is a hard working man and has his own house, car, and plenty of money. I'm starting college in January but would like to know if I should get engaged on my 18th birthday and get married a year or two later? Or should I just wait and get engaged after college?

Hi all, I work the Night Shift. And sometimes it gets slow, boring and drowsy. A coffee is just not enough sometimes to stay awake, so I had this discussion with a Female co worker of mine on whats a good trick to stay awake? She jokingly suggested that she would sometimes relieve herself sexually in the Ladies Room and that would do it for her! I work in the Nursing Field so nothing is sacred to us. I never thought that there are women out there who would actually do it in their work place. I would just like to know how many women actually relieve themselves sexually outside the privacy of their own homes? On top of it she's a Married woman too.

Being in a long time commite relationship, or being married?

If you believe that marriage is important, explain why and don't preach the Christian BS, because I don't buy it.

If you believe just being in a commited relationship, explain why?

Do you believe that living together prior to marriage "living in SIN" ruins your marriage and this is one of the underlying reasons there's so many divorces, confusion, and abuse in relationships???? I recently separated from hubby. We lived together prior to marriage and our church constantly told us NOT to do it because it was mocking GOD.

I met a man online through dating site. I have met several people through the years but he is the first that I really like enough for him to visit. He seems very smart normal carring
We been talking for about 3 months he made plans to come visit me in about 6 weeks we booked flight ect... I did not here from him for about 3 days I was so worried found out when he finally called he was in the hospitol he had a panic attack. Kind of freaked me out but I thought ok I have had thoughs and I am a normal person. In the mean time I was so concerned when he did not call that I searched everywhere for him including the dating site we met on. To my surprise his profile is still up and he had last logged on about the same time he ended up in the hospitol. So I shrugged it off. So this morning I went to the site and it showed that he logged on again a day ago? the plan was I pay for the ticket and he come work for me he is suppose to work unitl he comes and save money and he is not doing that?

For me, early on in my marriage, my wife and I didn't have alot of money to buy presents, and for Christmas, she made the Christmas card she gave me, and had saved some money for a new wedding band. I had lost my first wedding band and she bought me a new one. It really meant alot to me.

Also that Christmas, just wanting to spend quality time with me really meant alot to me.

My husband and I normally communicate fine, but the other day a friend whom he does not think that great of because she sleeps around called and aksed if I wanted to go out to Dinner, well being that I have a 6 month old and Work full time, I said yes, but first I asked his permission and he said it was fine. After he allowed me to go he changed meaning his whole character got kind of cold and he was real quiet. He stayed home with the baby and I was gone for no more than 4 hours. He did not say one word to me and during the night I tried putting my arms around him and he made a movement like trying to tell me to get off of him. I allow him to go out and come back when he wants when he wants to go to the bar and chill out with his friends. I also think it has something to do with the fact that he started going to church and he does not go out anymore. I asked him why he was mad at me and he said he was fine and for me to stop asking him that. Why would he be upset? Thanks!

I have been married to a fabulous man who happens who I helped 'go after his dreams' and finally landed his dream job, my 10 year old loves him to death, and his family's never seen him happier. He'd actually tried to kill himself over his ex two years ago...she'll come up later, she gave me the phone records and texts that proved he'd cheated...
While I was working on my master's degree and on and off bed rest this summer (I'm a high risk pregnancy and a teacher) my husband began a 'mind game' relationship with his ex to "get back at her for hurting him". This even included sleeping with her. This man was everything I thought didn't exist. At 29 I met him on a girl's night out, we clicked, two weeks later I was pregnant. He and I went to Vegas and got married--he even took my 10 year old daughter who he's mentioned adopting, he loves, etc. with us because he was "marrying us both". I've looked allover the Web for advice, am physically ill over it, it hurts so bad. Help.

and it had unintended consequences. Say... you had a complicated marriage and separated from your husband/wife, had been separated over a year. During that separation you met a friend who was much younger so you felt it would be safe to just be FWB. Ten months later sex is still fantastic and almost nightly but somehow it changed from being a friendship/casual relationship into something much more. You weren't looking for anything complicated to begin with but you found yourself faced with another complicated situation.
