Read a book called Proper are and Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura Schilnger---awesome read for both, but also telss ladies exactly how us Hubby's are. If your Hubby is happy he would swim through shark invested waters to bring you a tea...

I also read Care and Feeding of Husbands. Great book. It's not condesending towards men, it just highlights the things that are important to husbands. Things like respect, sex and attention. I make an effort to get up and meet my husband when he walks in the door and give him a big kiss. It shows him, "I'm worth coming home to." I thinking not nagging is also a biggie. So is showing appreciation when he helps me out. Good luck to you and happy marriage!

Biggest thing is not to nag him. When he comes home from work, say hi, give a hug or whatever then let him be, that is how men need to operate. I dont know if you need to urge him to hang out with friends but you should make it clear that a boys night is cool with you- btw a girls night should be as well. Dont spend money like there is no tomorrow (he shouldnt either)
If you want to make him happy in the bedroom, regular and quality bjs will do the trick.

If you are not going to nag him as suggested two answers above, you better understanding the definition of the word "nag" husband style.
If you should say:
"We have to be at the _______ in an hour, shouldn't you be getting out of bed?"
He will say you are nagging him. Which now gives him to the excuse to go diddle that cute young girl that works in the mail room.
Maybe if you don't ask him to do anything and don't ask for anything he might stick around for more than 5 minutes.
Do you really think he is trying to figure out how to be your "dream" husband? And by the way, once the kids start coming they are all yours to take care of, that just is not their bag.

Its a juggling act. Whats good for me and my wife may not work for you and yours.
Everything in my house is 50/50
She cooks
I eat
I earn
She spends.
I dirty
She cleans
She works the inside of the house
I work the outside.
Whatever she wants, she gets.
She also "gives me whatever I want" (wink-wink)
She even lets me smoke cigars in the house.
We're happy as two can be.

Most importantly
Never bad mouth him to another person always stand in his corner.
And never embarrass him in front of friends if he says something to offend you wait until you get him in the car then chew his butt out!
Half the time you want to complain don't,when your mad don't treat him like you would a child! just don't talk to him that will get him to come ask you what is wrong.
When you nag men don't listen.
A women can control and make her marriage a loving one as long as she fallows thoughs guide lines.

A non abuser. Somebody that can handle his anger and not place blame for his own actions. Somebody who doesn't call names or put down or insult or ridicule, or make feel low. Just a nice, decent person.

Well I don't know what your husband is like or what he would want in a wife. So I cant really give you a answer. I guess the main thing guys complain about is the lack of sex once they are married.
