I met a man online through dating site. I have met several people through the years but he is the first that I really like enough for him to visit. He seems very smart normal carring
We been talking for about 3 months he made plans to come visit me in about 6 weeks we booked flight ect... I did not here from him for about 3 days I was so worried found out when he finally called he was in the hospitol he had a panic attack. Kind of freaked me out but I thought ok I have had thoughs and I am a normal person. In the mean time I was so concerned when he did not call that I searched everywhere for him including the dating site we met on. To my surprise his profile is still up and he had last logged on about the same time he ended up in the hospitol. So I shrugged it off. So this morning I went to the site and it showed that he logged on again a day ago? the plan was I pay for the ticket and he come work for me he is suppose to work unitl he comes and save money and he is not doing that?

I bought a ticket that is non-refundable but I guess it is better then getting screwed over for more money in the future. I just cannot believe how the world is and how so many people can be that cruel to use another human being.

LisaLisa sorry but it sounds to this old fool like this guy might be playing you like a cheap fiddle. I was also fortunate enough to have met my wife on one of these sites. But the fact of life is there are many users and losers on these sites, of both sexes. Certainly he and you could continue to visit this site as there is no attachment yet between you two but it sounds as though this is your goal. If he is being hospitalized for panic attacks then he obviously has other issues that you may have to prepare yourself for. My suggestion would be to let this relationship die a normal death and attempt to meet someone else who is capable of making their own flight plans and paying for them also. This fellow probably thinks that he has found his lost pot of gold and that once he cons you into liking him that he will have it made for the rest of his life. You sound like a pretty mature and rational lady. Say goodbye to this guy and get on with your life. Please be careful with the amount of personal information you exchange with others on line as there are many dangers that are capable. I did nit even know my wifes real name or phone number for at least 3 months. We were both chatting with other strangers on line at the time but once we met and connected we ceased going on this site as there was no need for it any longer. Best of luck to you.

I couldn't really salvage an actual question anywhere in there. Either it is from aal teh typos or because there just wasn't one in there. Either way, the only thing I can say is, if you go out of your way to meet a girl for the first time, you [he] should be the one springing for his own ticket. no exceptions. This whole working off the ticket that a prospective soulmate bought is kinda Rikki Lake style.

you sound too trusting for your own good and to let a complete stranger come stay with you is not a good idea...you do not have to be hospitalized for 3 days for panic attacks...you should have never spent your $$ on a plane ticket for him. You don't know him and his is lying to you. Cancel the ticket..it will cost you about $100 but this may save your life.

You can do better than this guy. Step aside for a moment and look at the situation from the outside - he wants you to pay for a plane ticket, he wants to rely on you for a job, but he can't be bothered to talk to you daily or break up with you in a mature way? Forget about him - and find someone who will respect and love you in a mature way!

Sounds to me like he is a loser that is trying to find women online to support him or even send him on nice little trips and fork over the dough to pay for them. And hey, he might even get lucky in the process. You have to be EXTREMELY careful when dating people you meet online. I would buy this man another thing and tell him to get lost. He is only taking advantage of you and as many other lonely women he can find. Sorry, but this has happened to my mom the same exact thing.

You must be pretty hard up to buy a stranger a plane ticket. Sounds like he is a scammer, refund the ticket if you can and move on!!

What are you doing? Already you don't trust this guy. Don't you think that if this was a good relationship, you would trust him?
He can't pay for his own ticket to see you? WTF? I know guys that would find anyway necessary to see woman. He obviously doesn't have a job, why would he fly? He has all the time in the world to ride a bus... heck... even bike.

Maybe he's logging on to see if ur logging on. It's a dating site he may wanna keep his options open in case the meeting w/ u doesn't go to well.
