and it had unintended consequences. Say... you had a complicated marriage and separated from your husband/wife, had been separated over a year. During that separation you met a friend who was much younger so you felt it would be safe to just be FWB. Ten months later sex is still fantastic and almost nightly but somehow it changed from being a friendship/casual relationship into something much more. You weren't looking for anything complicated to begin with but you found yourself faced with another complicated situation.

ayoungwo... not the same question. One is 11 years older, the other is 11 years younger and I like asking questions to see how different people respond...even is some are rephrased slightly. I think one gets better answers this way.

*misbotta: very wise, if one has all the facts. Perhaps they each might want different things? Especially since there is a difference in ages?

Do you think you can just have sex with someone every night and just stay friends. Of course love will enter into it and you will want to make a life with this person. Just who was you trying to fool.

I'm not sure where this "nine years max" rule came from. I find it is more of a proportion of your age. How old are you?

I've done well dating between 75% - 150% of my age. When I dated a woman about 65% of my age, we didn't have enough in common. In that case, the best we could hope for was FWB, but there was more B than F in our relationship.

Some FWB relationship do change. One cannot guarantee that relationships will not. It sounds like the two of you need to determine what form of relationship the two of you want. My newest relationship (we're becoming secondaries rather than Friends with benefits) is 12 years younger. She's 36, I'm 48.

You were playing with fire when you started having sex. It doesn't seem that complicated. Get the divorce and have a real relationship with the younger person. As long as he/she isn't jail bate, does age really matter? Life doesn't have to be so dramatic and complicated. Stop thinking about what others think or may think and do what you need to do for you. Then everything will fall in place.

"Where does it come from ... this quest, this need to solve lifes mysteries when the simplest of questions can never be answered.

why are we here?

what is the soul?

why do we dream?

Perhaps we'd be better off not looking at all, not delving, not yearning. But that's not human nature, not the human heart ... that's not why we are here.

Who among the world of strangers will hold our hand or touch our hearts."

I do love you honey x

spending quality time ..intimate or not will bring two people closer ...but it being sexual and spending so much time together it was bound to turn into more ... you need to maybe take a breather from the friend for a few nights and figure out just what you really want in life ...good luck
