Please don't tell me because God says so. I think it's a shame that people just can't be with each other without having to get a peace of paper that says they love each other. I mean if you love that person, you know that you love them..right?? do you think that weddings are just for women to feel special and that is why people have them? I guess some men want to be invovled in the wedding, but most could care less about flowers and stuff like that...get me? Please I want to know your views on this topic. thanks.

I recently lost my job of almost 10 years. As a result of this, I took a job for which I had to train out of town. While I was out of town, I found out that my wife of 8 years was having an affair with one of the guys I personally asked to watch over my family while I was gone. I am really struggling with this because my Family (Mother&Brothers) wants nothing to do with her! Her take on it is that they "need to get over it!"
She has shown no remorse for this as well as telling me that if we go to counseling we'll find out its not all her fault!
I have 3 children, the oldest,12yrs,is hers from a previous relationship who only knows me as daddy, a 3 yr old and an 18mo old.
They are the reason I am still around!
How do I move on without hurting my children?
Do I talk to my 12yr old about it? She is going to be going thru enough with adolecence as it is.
As you can see......rock........hard place....???????????

my sons dad filed for custody of our son. he is trying to prove me an unfit mother which isnt possible. i hired an attorney and have been fighting him every step of the way. we go to court dec. 4th. my attorney has done all his homework in order to prepare for this court date. my attorney filed a discovery paper to find out who would be testifying against me and see what kind of things they would be trying to use against me. my sons dads attorney hasnt done anything. no discovery paper, and no supenas have been filed and we have less than a week untill court. can anyone tell me why this attorney hasnt done any of the common things they are supposed to do in order to prepare for court? and what do you think is going to happen tuesday when i get there due to this attorney taking no action?

He hides a lot from me and wants me to trust him.Even his friends back bited him but he is good to eveyone and fights with me if i argue.he plays a good character with my family and blames me daily and says he is not a dog..!

After 12 years of marriage and two beautiful kids, I think i'm ready. We have been through sooooo much most marriages wouldn't of survived this roller coaster ride. From a very loving relationship to a resentful one. We've been through poverty too many times due to his lack of motivation and aspirations and that's just it! I want someone who can support us. I'm tired of struggling and me always putting 110% to hold our lives together, including working 2 1/2 jobs, while he has been saying for years that he needs to get his H.S. Diploma or GED...come on you think?? we lost our home already when we own a house and been practically evicted from two rentals. Is it wrong of me to be fed up and want to leave him because he just doesn't make enough money to support the family???,,...but my kids they are 8 & 13 and he is so loving with them. Anyone????

There is a girl I want to explain my feelings to, but not sure if I will get shot down... I have known this girl for over a month and is a cousin of my friend. My friend says I should not get involved with her. I have many strong feelings about her, but not sure she feels the same. She does talk about another she is involved with, but never sees him, but they talk on the phone sometimes. She has a little boy I just adore. Mother and son are so awesome together. All 3 of us have spent much time together and I am wanting to just spill my guts, but not sure how. I did write her a letter, scared to give it to her... What should I do?? Thanks...

I am friends with a middle aged couple. Lately I've noticed that they're being more open with their sex lives. I.e: one night the three of us were sitting around and the husband started talking about working on the roof. His wife then told him that she didn't want him to work on the roof because she was afraid he would fall and hurt himself. She then made the comment that she wasn't ready to switch to mechanical devices. She then looked at me and said, "I prefer the real thing." Her husband then said, "Oh, she doesn't want to go out and get a vibrator." I didn't expect that to be said. Later on, they did some adjusting to their bed room. Then I noticed that a painting was hanging too high above the bed. I asked about it, and he told me that there might be a reason that they painting is so high (it's outta the way for when they have sex). I'm 23 years old and abstinent (a virgin). Is this moral for conversation? I'm not used to it because of my life style, they know I live.

I am a mother of two and step mother of one. My husband and I are barely scraping by financially at this point. My husband pays $500 or so a month in child support for his daughter. Her mother doesn't work, his daughter is in daycare (approx. $1000/month= our rent). Her mother also owns their home, and just recently bought a brand new computer and Buick Ranier ($30,000 +). I drive a 94 Chevy Lumina that's on death's door and my husband drives a 91 mercury sable with no power steering. We overdraft our bank account often, simply buying the necessities. We are lucky that we can keep our kids in diapers. My step daughter has ONLY name-brand toys and videogames (she's 3) and my kids are lucky to get a handful of generic toys on birthday's and christmas unless it comes from grandma. I know I probably sound incredibly whiny, but does anyone anywhere even think that this is fair? Also, her mother is college educated and CHOOSES not to work.

I have been with my fiance for 9 yrs and we just had our frist baby 5 months ago.Our relationship has always been great until now. During the month of October I found out that he had gotten a phone for someone. When I ask him about it, he lied up and down that it was guy friend. Then I heard a meassge he left saying "Hey mamas I like being around you, you make me feel good and know that I love you" Not a guy friend, but a girl he goes to school with.
He swears on our son life that she is just a friend and that nothing ever happened. What do you think??? Can this be true

My current boyfriend believes that there is no valid reason aside from life and death matters for me to have any communications with the father of my daughter. He says that any normal person would agree with him. Am I so off on this? Is this really how people feel about this?

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 7months. We are both in 30s and we are both divorced with no kids. We both want to get married if our relationship grows and find out if we are right for each other. We don't know if we are right for each other yet but we like each other very much. I introduce him to my family and my parents don't think he is right for me due to uncertainty of financial future of my boyfriend. (He works but he is not financially stable.) My parents expressed their feelings in a nice way and encouraging me to date other potential people. Honestly, I like him very much but what my parents are saying also makes sense. He has been very cautious in our relationship due to past divorce, doesn't open up with me in deep level and it feels he's distant or hegitant to make our relationship go forward. After meeting my parents, he was in shock and now he wants time to think. What does this mean?

Where can I find information on how to deal with false accusations by 2 of my children accusing me of inappropriatly touching them. My ex-wife, there mother has had 2 no contact oders innitiated by the courts, and I was advised the 1st time by local authorities to give it time, not contest it and see what happens. After I was informed it had been reinstated for another year due to the possibility I might re-offend it became aware to me I need to take steps to disprove these accusations, for my girls sake as well as my own. I live in a small town. This effects my everyday life as to my profession, but more so it effects my girls in ways they may not even yet be aware of, and last but not least I love and miss them with all my heart and want to help them deal with this. If they were mistreated, the real offender needs to be found and stopped before he destroys another family the way he has mine.

I was looking online that tells what to do when you find your spouse is cheating and it talks about calling the other persons work place and letting there friends know what they are doing. Was looking but couldn't find it.
