Dearest hindus,

Just to inform you that there is a Y! India. You can find the link at the bottom of the screen (where all the flags are).

There is no need to post question here that no one would understan or relate.

I really try to understand your unintelligible version of so-called english at no avail.

I have tried to be culturally sensitive and try to respond your question, but it's hard when here on the west civilization cannot relate the complexity of your social caste system.

People, we don't have here sorceres that rely on horoscopes and birthdays to make life changing decisions. Please, ask on Y! India where people can relate and understand your superstitions.

I'm not judgamental of your culture, but here in USA we do not condone in-breeding, child marriages, selling your daughters fotr marriage etc. so why asking here where people cannot relate??????

Then if you answer from a western point of view, then you feel "offended".

I'll try to make this as brief as possible, but i really want your opinions. Been together 6.5 years, I'm 25 he's going to be 29 next month. We've had our ups and downs like every couple, but we've stuck together and love each other very much. I have wanted to get engaged for a while, but he hasn't been ready so I let it go. Well after 6.5 years i said enough is enough, there is absolutley no reason for us not to get engaged, none at all, and he kept saying I'm not ready and I don't know why or when I will be. (There has been much more said, that has made me force the issue b/c sometimes I think we are on different pgs. & it is important to me to be with someone that wants to get married & hace a family) So back in Aug, I broke up with him & said no more games, we get engaged or we are over. So after no speaking for 3 weeks he calls me & says he loves me more than anything, he realized life is too short, he want a family and he's ready to get married, so he buys my ring and ...

Ok here it goes. My husband has two children from a previous marriage. We pay child support for them. We just had a baby and I was wondering if we could get the child support lowered in order to take care of our child. The divorce was filed in Nevada. Does anyone have any info on this or where I could go to find out?

If you love someone and decided to spend your lives together by getting married, why would you cheat on that very person you love and care so much about? If you loved them, why would you risk hurting them so deeply?

Can anybody tell me why? My boyfriend has been seeing a married women behind mine and her husbands back they have been together 2 years we have been together 1.
He says he can't get her out of his heart, he says in his mind he wants to be with me and he loves me but his heart won't let him move on.. He says they have this "dream" together. She has told her husband 3 times and all 3 times couldn't leave him.. Last week I packed my bags and was leaving him but he begged me to stay said he can't imagine life without me, only now I have found emails he has sent to her while she is away with her husband and kids... He says he wants nothing more than to love me whole heartedly. So why cant he leave this women alone? Is it just the whole fantasy thing. Believe me I know I should leave him but can't bring myself to do so. I have spoken to this other women who has told me she can't tell her husband again... Will he ever get over her?

Compared with foreign men I know, they don't respect their mothers or take care of their sisters. They let doors close on women and they have no galantry. Not all but a good number of them.

Why do you think that has ocurred in the USA?

We have been together for more than a decade , i have stood by him despite his cheating n adjusted with his family "high and mighty " attitude towards me and given up a rich and rewarding career for bringing up our only child as i think its imp to raise them well ......as the years progress n thought generally he treats me well often he mockingly asks what i do for him ? His contention is I only have to cook n clean which is no big deal. While I agree it is no big deal to me it is as big as his work if not more. But truth is while his career grows each year and his salary increases exponentially year on year my household contributions remains as much and as menial n insignificant as ever. Do you also face this ? Do u also yearn for an occassional well done ! ? Am I asking for more than my due ? Does a general statement like "big deal ...u only do housework " negate all my contributions to his life. Am I to be valued only as much as one values a maid/cook/general help ?.Im confused...

Hi there, mylife over the last 8months has changed beyond belief. I have separated from my husband of 10years, fallen head over heels in love with the man I should have originally married, changed jobs and had to adjust to bringing up 2 fantastic kids on my own.
My family have not exactly helped the situation I am in but to be fair it can't be easy for them. The problem I have at the moment is I really can't seem to cope with my job at all, in fact I hate it that much I have considered doing really stupid things. My boyfriend is worried sick about me but although I think about doing things I would never hurt my kids by leaving them or anything like that. I am a childminder and the kids I look after happen to be my sisters 2 boys (my nephews) and a friends 2 boys. To be honest becoming a childminder was a big mistake in the first place but now the youngest one (10 months) is driving me to distraction. He cries all day, and I mean ALL DAY! I cannot cope with him screaming and although

2 1/2 years ago I dropped my husband's wedding ring in the kitchen. I believe it is wedged behind the dishwasher, which is part of the center kitchen island. I tried to unscrew the dishwasher and pull it out, but I'm not a plumber and don't want to disconnect the pipes.
Hubby was not mad at all about the lost ring. We are very solid and stable in our 14 year relationship (married for 8). We both feel that a piece of jewelry does not signify the marriage. Eventually I bought him a new one. The original is plain gold band with an engraved inscription. The replacement is just a plain band. He does not wear his ring daily because of work.

Yesterday we had a plumber over due to our broken garbage disposal. I asked hubby to have the plumber pull out the dishwasher because in my heart, I know it's there. But hubby didn't ask the plumber. He said to just let it go. I just want to find that original ring! Is that being ridiculous?

I have been married for 1 1/2 years now. Since then I was browsing on the internet and he had recieved mail so I opened it and it was a guy laying across the bed (hotel) with boxers on. I asked him about it he said it was junk mail anyone could have sent that. I am smarter than that so I wrote the senders name down on paper. Then we went shopping at Ross a coulpe of weeks later and saw two gay guys walking towards us holding hands my husband mumbled under his breath, " I hope they do not see me". I questioned him he said what man wants gay men looking at them? I said," what man says it out loud and who would care if they were just walking by. Then we went to a party his job had and a co-worker came up to him and said what's up man whose this your sister? My husband said no my wife he said ah man I thouhgt you were gay the rumor is you are gay. This guy said it all night and he was drunk. What dose a drunk man do when he is drunk? And his bestfriend is gay!he denies it all what to do?

Being back only reinforced my reasons for leaving intially but he is very distraught about me leaving again and asked me to stay for a few more week in order for him to mentally prepare. 18 month ago when our marriage initally broke down he transfered half my home into another family members name in order to defy my claim on the property. Which says to me - the mentally preparing was actually done then. Since I have been back he is VERY VERY insistant on me removing my claim on the other half in order for us to stay amicable and states that I should trust him. The time has come to leave again (children start new school after the holidays) but my hubby is full of tears but yet anger about the claim on the house. Ive left before and now it just feels harder - I know what I have to do but doing it is not as easy as it was the first time around - WHY???

His son is not doing well in school, not going to classes, lying, not doing his homework, nor taking his materials to school and so on. So that's (according to what he tells me) is the main reason he wants to talk to his ex wife like he wants to. Am I wrong to ask him that during this process he cannot hurt me?
I always try to rationalize stuff, I need structure, I need timetables in the emotional level hehe the one I REALLY have no control over. He asked me, while he was doind this we were going on with our lifes, we are getting a dog, we have our activities... so nothings diferent and for me that's good, but is it so unfair of me to ask him, regarding her, that he could do it a little my way?
Like being home for dinner, calling me?
Well, lol, because I rationalize stuff, now I'm thinking that this is a stupid question, my doubts are like Dear John and I'm just grunfed!!!

My husband and I have been together for over 7 years, married over 3. We have an almost 2 year old son. Our sex life is the pits right now. Even before I got pregnant I was uninterested in sex. Now it's even worse. I just have no desire or motivation for it. I feel bad for my husband and try to give it up now and then. But he knows I'm not really enjoying it and he doesn't want just "obligation" sex.
I don't know what to do to help my sex drive. I love my husband and am attracted to him. I just have no interest. I happen to be on prozac which I know can lower your sex drive, but I have to be on prozac. That's not an option.
Any advice please? Serious responses only.
Thanks.

I met my then boyfriend when I was 19 years old and a virgin. We slept together before we got married, but were faithful to each other to the present day, which is 17 years later. I find now, at 35, that I'm having this crisis about wanting to sleep with every good looking man I come across because I'm so curious about what it would be like. I kick myself for not sowing my oats way back then, but I had no self-esteem and picked the first man that showed any interest (not that I don't love my husband and have more than a decent marriage.) Please help.
