I met my wife in china. Shortly after we got married, I had come back to the states to work. Now there is something makes me don't feel comfortable. My wife doesn't want people around her to know that she has married, she told me not to visit her at work when I go to china to see her this coming Dec. She also ask me to trust her. Now she still talks to her old boyfriend, she want me to understand that there is nothing between them, they are just friends... hell, that's not the girl I think I knew before, what should do? What does it mean? Please give me some suggestions. Thanks! jk

i don't know why the ratio of divorce rate is so high in america.
why the american's won't think a lasting relationship.if parents took divorce altimately the victims are childrens.i think in every realtionship some problems are there but divorce is not a good solution.why the american's won't sacrifice thier life to their family.before marriage we should know each other and love each other.

I have read that the natural biological urges of the woman only guarantee a four-year period of fidelity with each man. Any exceptions are only because of extreme will power on her part and/or a disenchantment with romance. Is this true?

I came home from work yesterday to find my wife in bed with the neighbour...who just happens to be female. She promised me she'd stop her bisexual activities. Am I wrong to consider this a betrayal ?

Is it ok for a person to change their spouse to "help them grow up"? Is it ok for them to make them change their habits and friends because they were a "waste of time"? In a marriage such as that, would trying to work it out still be the right thing? How would you be able to work it out when the changes would still be there and the unhappiness with it? If anyone has seen some sort of book on this topic, that would be greatly appreciated as well. thank you.

Is it really just not that important to you? Like it is something to be crossed off a list? Do you anticipate it? Do you think that just because you're married, you don't have to put the effort into it anymore?, now that you bagged your man?
Case in point: I know two husbands who have very pretty wives, and think their lives are all hunky-dory. What they don't know is that they are being cheated on when their guys are out of town for work during the week. One paid for some nasty hookers in Raleigh, and the other brought a 300-pound gal back to the hotel room on a different job trip. As it stands, this is a fairly regular occurrence, and shocks the hell out of me, because I find their wives attractive.

They both claim they don't get any from their wives and are tired of the non-attention.

So wives, my question to you is, why does sex become an afterthought to you. Why is pleasing your man not as high on your list as watching Survivor?

why would a married woman once they get caught or tell on who they been with this isnt right to get the other party involved in what they happened to get caught doing .why drag the one who was with them in it no caring if it causes the one problems with there wife or girlfriend . and why even tell your husband you was cheating on him. makes no sence to me telling there husbands this. why dont they just keep it to there selves.

I have been reading "The Sociologically Examined Life" by Michael Schwalbe.

Here is a quote from it followed by a question Schwalbe later asks. please answer and explain.... Thanks

"In the past, women gave up their family names upon getting married and took the last name of their new husband. This practice served to indicate that a woman as a piece of property, had been transferred from one male(the father) to another(the husband). Men did not change their names. Men were owners, not property.
Today we reject the idea of women as property, yet this name changing practice persists why"

my bf and i have been dating for almost two years. the majority of our relationship has been long distance. we are very much in love and have indirectly talked about marriage but both agree that living in the same place is a must before making such a statement. we are both virgins and are waiting for marriage. i am fairly certain i want to marry this man. here is the issue: he will be moving to my city in a few months. we have discussed moving in together. he is 100% for it. i am nervous. the facts that we have not lived in the same place for an extended period of time, we are maintaining that we want to wait to have sex, and the fact that the idea of moving in together and then finding out that it isnt working simply terrifies me. what if it all goes wrong?! on the flip side, as i said before, i dont foresee a breakup and i anticipate marriage, it makes sense financially, and we truly enjoy spending time together but we also appreciate and accept our need for space. help!

My wife came into my home office tonight, with messed up hair, wearing no makeup, wearing a baggy t-shirt and asked "Do you want to DO me?" and then walked off to the bedroom and curled up under the covers.

I am a very romantic, as well as visually oriented guy, and I can't get turned on when my wife approaches me this way... it results in a lot of bad feelings between us.

My dream come true would be if she wore a little makeup, maybe combed her hair and and wore ANYTHING other than a baggy t-shirt when she is in the mood and approaches me. I talked to her about this, and she got very upset and went to sleep on the couch. By the way, she always looks very good when she goes out to see other people.

What should I do to get her to understand what would help, so I can fulfill her needs and be a loving husband who wants to (and is able to) make love to his wife? She is interpreting my reactions right now as saying I don't love her :(

We are already 1400 miles away what the hell am I clinging too. I love him and I know he loves me but I am lost as to what I need to do. I want this marriage to work, but for the both of us... I dont want to make him happy while making myself unhappy. Any advice?

(my friend and me were wondering about the best way to get that type of point across; only for a guy who'd deserve it of course)

I know it isnt okay to sleep with another womans husband, but ive been doing it for years. I do always feel guilty afterwards. Now im in love with a married man. He tells me that he doesnt love her and hes only there for the kids sake. Should i wait around for him? I also feel real guilty because when his wife goes away some times he invites me over and we have sex in their bed..and sometimes in the kids room when they arent home. Im not really comfortable with that and id like to stick to the living room and kitchen. How do i tell him this?
