I have read that the natural biological urges of the woman only guarantee a four-year period of fidelity with each man. Any exceptions are only because of extreme will power on her part and/or a disenchantment with romance. Is this true?

dude

who knows

woman are all different

if theyve been hurt in the past, theyll do 1 of 2 things:

-Get out before it gets to committed
or
-Become so clingy they want to be around you 24/7

if theyve been basically themselves there whole lives, and know what they want and are strong people worth GETTING TO KNOW and ARNT SCREWED UP

then its up to you on how long you stick together, if you keep her attraction twords you high
and do all the moves

Oh way to turn the guilt round .

You can get the statistics of cheater's on line if you google hard enough as to your natural biological urges who and where are you receiving your information ? or is this just your way to get back at all the women in here who continually ask about why men cheat ? seriously you couldnt come up with something original of your own?.

I've never cheated on any man I am 35 and I dont plan to start cheating now , so dont catogorise us tyvm.

I can ask the same of you men,how long before you want some excitement in your bedroom. We all get bored with the same old thing night after night but that doesn't mean you should go out and find someone different. How many women did they ask this question to to come up with this answer 100 maybe 200 at best. There are more women that would not cheat then there are men that would.

Disagree. The truth is men are born ploygamous in nature and therefore they have the greatest number of cheaters.
Women is normally shy and not in a position to be agreesive to make the first move to initiate an extra marital affair to other guy. Women too, can not just give easily their own body to the other guy besides their husband without feeling on their hearts.

This woman doesn't cheat because I have a brain that can control my urges until my hubby gets home...Are you by chance looking for justification for your own infidelity? Maybe you are just hanging around with the wrong kind of women!

You have got to be kidding. I would not cheat because I promised to love my husband "until death do us part". (I am not a liar.) Because of this promise, I have focused my life on making his life and the lives of our children peaceful and happy. "Urges" be real... why would I toss away my family for that? Romance? I love glitter and pretty words but I'd rather have day to day kindness and helpfulness. (I'm not convinced I can't have a little of both)

I don't know about that, but if your theory was true and most women cheated, then that would mean that most men would cheat also, since every cheating woman naturally needs a man to cheat with, doesn't she?

Biology has less control on us than culture, so we have something called self control. In fact, I have no interest in reproduction, this would go against biology as a species we're supposed to breed, but I am fully committed to never giving birth, but I have made a life long committment to my partner.

No. We have a safety device. It's called a vibrator.

:-)

Seriously, in a good relationship, affection and loyalty can go a long way to keep people together.
