yes, when you truly love someone and they do something to hurt you its normal to hate that but yet you still love them overall you just hate whatever they did to you.

Yes I think its possible to love some one and hate them at the same time, but you said they done something to you to make you hate them. Now that is a different story, when someone does something to you that makes you feel so bad that you can have a strong feeling like hate towards them you need to be real careful. Hate is a powerful emotion and can win out in the end. There is a thin line between love and hate. Love takes time and patience, hate seems to grow on its own... I would talk openly with this person about these situation and see what happens. Good luck.

It is fine to love and hate the same person. You might love some of them in general and just hate some of their traits. It's completely normal. IT hasn't really happened to me because I've never been in love before but, good luck to you and hopefully this helped with your problem.

Yep. Still love my ex-wife even though she cheated on me and left me for someone else (thats the hate part by the way). I don't see a way to ever be together again because of the hate, but the love makes me have other ideas.

YES I hate my ex BF. He cheated on me with a girl he saw me talking to at a friend's social function.
I thought i was going crazy, becuase although I hate him for what he did to me and think very lowly of him, my pride wont let me get past what he did, I Still love and miss him and wish he would have never betrayed me so that we could be together and close like we were before this happened.

YOU can love person in the same time hate something that he did for you. or you need more and more from him so you feel that you hate him. i think that is all

honey i have been with my boyfriend for 6 years and we are getting married in less then a year, and we love each other but we didnt have to like each other we love each other as best friend but hate each other as husband/wife we love doing stuff together and having fun but when it comes down to the stuff that you do as a married couple we hate it like bills etc. so yes it is possible but i think that's what you need to make a relationship work

Yes, I think so. In fact, I really love my ex-boyfriend, but he treated me badly so I dumped him. I hated him for the way he treated me, but I still loved him all the same. I think it's a lot safer to love him from a distance.
