My husband and I have known each other for 10 years. We have two beautiful children and he haves 4 other children from a previous relationship.(Thank God 3 of them are grown now.)But sometimes, He comes home with a terrible attitude. I try to talk to him but all he says is he's tired or leave him alone. I think he's taking to much responsiblities because he doesn't let me pay bills. I can't get a credit card, buy my own car and i don't think the house is in my name. I feel really nieve for letting my husband control me. And now, I feel I helpless. Right now, I am staying for the kids. But I'm feeling frustrated. Does anybody have any advice for me please?

I have been married to my husband for 3 years. We recently just seperated for a month and a half but are back together now. While we were seperated we were both with other people. Now, he wants to have a baby with me. I think he thinks if I'm pregnant I won't leave again or that no one will want me. Oh, by the way the girl he was with when we were seperated got pregnant with his baby and had a miscarriage.

I read that I'm doing everything correctly and 'prescribed' but he's not responding to any of it. How come I'm trying so hard and he doesn't? When I don't try, the same happens. Catch 22. He knows I'm unhappy with the quality of our relationship, I told him- "I'm unhappy with the quality of our relationship."
WTF already?!

I was with my ex-girlfriend for 4 years from 2002-2006. Even though my love for her was unquestionable, I just didnt marry her, just got scared about it. She wanted to get married, and I always told her that we would "soon." I never was with another girl, just thought things were great as they were and I knew in time I would marry this girl. Well, all of the sudden she told me in December that she was tired of waiting and that she didnt want to "waste her life waiting for me and false promises." She reconnected with some friend she had and they got maried 4 months later in April. I was and am still DEVASTATED. I love this girl deeply, I cant believe she did this!! I told her to marry me instead when I found out about it, but she said it was "too late." Since this time, she has called/email a bunch of times telling me she prefers to be with me and made a mistake. But, she cant see herself getting divorced bcs. she would hurt him and herself. Anything I can do?Will she be happy?

I have been with my husband for 8 years (married for 3). Recently I reconnected with an old friend on MySpace. At first we were just sending e-mails then it went to phone calls where we realized that we only lived 4 houses away from one another. I hooked up with him one day and we went for a ride. Well, one thing led to another and we ended up at his house. He makes me feel like I've never felt before. I think I'm falling in love with him. I hate to do this to my husband but he's all I can think about.

If yes, What did you do or get?

If no, were you upset? Did you expect something

I think my husband is cheating on me. We have been together for 6 years and have 2 young daughters. My husband is the sweesest man I have ever met. He is so attentive towards me. But I have caught him in several lies.

1.) He gave me an STD when we first got together. He knew he had it but was too ashamed to saying anything.

2.) I noticed one of our girl friends was calling him. I never thought they had a close friendship and was very surprised to hear messages on his cell phone and I also found out that he had been calling her cell. He said he had never been with her and swore that he has never cheated on me. I later found out that they had 'dated' before we got together. She was calling him to talk about ''her relationship''... supposedly.

3.) He lied about his divorce. He said she cheated on him but when I asked her, she said he cheated on her multiple tiems and that he constantly lied to her. He never admitted to being unfaithful but she caught him.

I am so confused...

I would like to know what couples fight about, what they can't get past, and what is a major contributor in divorce, (specifically interracial/multi culural relationships)? Is it culture differences, communication, selfishness, not understanding eachothers feelings/views, in-laws, etc... or something else?

my grand father is a holocost surviver. his first wife and 3 kids got killd and he married my grand mother after the war. they had 6 kids, all happy and nice.
he never talkd to us about his first wife and kids whom he left in aushwits.
a couple years ago at a party my grand mother broke a story, which i think would intrest alot of poeple.
she started by saying that our grand father used to talk about his first family in the begining but she got upset and later not letting him talk about it and wanted he should totaly forget about what happend.

laelty about 4 months ago she fixd his blazer (jacot) and found somthing in a hidden pocket. she had to cut it with a cizer and thiere was a picture of his first wife!
she ended the story by telling us, that she feels sorry for not knowing what he felt all thees years, and we should be proud of our grand father.

I'm in the middle of getting a divorce from my wife. We still live together as she wants me to leave and I think she should. However, rather than keep fighting (especially in front of the kids) I am going to go ahead and leave.

She wants to keep it "amicable", as do I. However, she is nitpicking the hell out of me. Every little thing that she perceives as wrong, she confronts me with. For example, she wants to know how I am going to parent our children after I leave. Specifically, how I plan on being able to help them get their homework done and cook dinner for them. She feels that I am incapable of doing it so is "concerned" about how it will get down after we split.

Last night she was out on the town. I put the kids to bed and retired myself (not sleeping well). When she came home our 3 year old was up and walking around. She rode my azz this morning for being derelict in my duties as a father.

I now feel she will always do this. Should I just get a lawyer?

My husband and I have been seperated for almost a year and I am filing papers as we speak. I have been cravely male companionship lately. I am by no means naive enough to believe that i am ready for a relationship, but would like to find a friend with "benefits". Any opinions on this ?!?!

Here's the thing. A friend very recently found out that her fiance had been cheating on her for half the duration of their courtship.

Even after being confronted with this news, my friend said that she would have preferred not to know a thing about it and would have married him anyway.

So my question to you is; if your significant other had been cheating on you, and you had no idea whatsoever (they were still behaving exactly the same, you thought your relationship was going well), would you still want to know?

And from another angle, if you caught your partner red-handed and had suspected him/her of unscrupulous activities, would you want to forget it ever happened and carry on as usual?

The reason I ask is because my friend, who was deeply in love with this scumbag says that ignorance truly is bliss, and she would pay to have her memory wiped of the incident.

So what do you think? Some people want to know everything down to the tiniest detail, and some deny it outright

He was with a woman for almost 2 years a few years ago and they lived together and were pretty serious(her 2 year old boy called him daddy, ect..). He talked about her alot when we first started dating, and he still has a whole album of pictures of her. We've been married for a year and I've been wanting him to get rid of them the whole time and he still refuses and says he'll never get rid of them. Does he want to keep them because he wants to hold on to her memory because he's not totally over her? Would it be wrong of me to get rid of them? Please help!!

My wife is starting to really piss me off. Friday, some co-workers invited me to go out for some drinks after work. I'd never gone somewhere after work. Just home. So I tell my wife about it & she flips. She said how can I want to spend time with 'other people' and not with her or the kids? I tell her it's only going to be for 1 hour or so, but still she doesn't budge.

I've tried giving her some time to go out & do whatever & I'll take care of the kids. But she'd rather spend her 'extra time' with me & the boys rather than going out. Isn't this her problem, not mine?

So I finally grind her to tell me what the real reason is. She says she's scared she's going to loose me & that she doesn't know what I'd do if the temptation was there. (She obviously doesn't trust me, but has no reason not to). She says she does trust me & that I'd be stupid to go elsewhere.

I just don't know what else to do or tell her... Any advice or similar situations? Please help

comes home when he wants?

We have a 7 month old baby at home and for those who have children, you know that it can be very difficult at times, especially at night. Yes, we both have full time jobs.

So here is the problem...my husband goes out and doesn't come home until 2 am and sometimes 4 am. When I confront him about it he says "I was just out drinking and I knew that if I called you, you'd be pissed so it was easier not to call you." I asked him if he would be angry if I did that. And he got mad and said "go do it, if you think that's gonna help your marriage!" I told him that it wasn't right especially because we have a baby and I am tired and need help. He does this at least once a month. He hangs out at bars where they do other things.

Am I being difficult?

He then said "fine! I won't have any friends and I won't go out anymore, I won't have anymore friends either!"
