Someone that actually listens, not just hears, what you are saying and then actually remembers it later. There is nothing more sad in a relationship when the partner doesn't pay attention.

Happiness can come from many thing for each women. It can be a simple day to herself with a good book, a night out with great food and great friends, or a family get together when she is able to catch up with everyone. I guess your REAL question should be (if i am assuming right)....how can a guy make you happy?

+ Simple I love you's : flowers for no reason, a call in the middle of the day to say hi and miss a person, a spontaneous trip (car trip, get away, etc...)
+ Affection, Affection, Affection (enough said)
+ Making the person I love happy....seriously.
+ When I can look into my huneys eyes and just smile....because I know how much he loves me.
+ Simple things: a homemade dinner after a long day, a massage
+ Faithfulness, fulfillment, honesty, trust, sharing...
+ Oh and of course great 'bedroom moments' lol

What makes me really happy is forgetting about the laundry, the dishes, and all of the other house work and just enjoy life. I still clean, but when I need that happines more than a clean house I stop what I do. I have two kids so I play with them and dance to music. I try to not put things off for another day, because you never know if you'll have tomorrow to dance and play. Focusing on what really matters in my life and actually making it a priority is what makes me happy. I don't need a new car, clothes, or house. I just need time with my family and some hugs and kisses and I'll have a wonderful day.

I like my husband to come home and just visit with me. He has a tendancy to want to come home and just watch tv until it's time to go to bed. This makes me feel like I'm am very distant from him. I like him to tell me what he had experienced that day, and then want to know the same from me. Just have a simple conversation, be interested in me and what I'm doing.

I want him to be honest with me. Going back to the old "do these pants make me look fat" question... if I ask my man to tell me how I look, I really want him to be honest, but in a way that is gentle. If it doesn't look good, please tell me so I don't make a fool out of myself, but do it in a loving way so I don't feel like he's saying that I'm not attractive.

Last but not least, it's always nice to hear a genuine compliment. It doesn't even have to be anything big. Just anything to let me know that he notices and appreciates how I look or any improvement that I have been trying to make in myself or my surroundings. (If I have been trying to stop a bad habit and he has noticed, it's nice to hear. If I've been trying extra hard to do something better, like keep the sink clear of dishes, it's nice to be appreciated... even if you think that it's something I should already be doing.) When I feel appreciated, I am happy and I feel like doing even better.

So bottom line; be interested in me, be honest, and appreciate me, and I will be the same for him. But it all has to be genuine!

My husband writes poems (or tries to) and brings flowers even if it's not a special occasion. He also does not like porn. That makes me happy!!!!

I agree with Nina. I am guilty of not "Really" listening to my wife of 14 years and now we are seperated. LISTEN to your woman and remember it.
