Who doesn't do anything serious, but does a lot of little stupid sh*t that adds up. Let's say I'm going to bed, and I ask him to lower the volume on the TV. He'll turn it UP and sit there with a self-satisfied smirk on his face! Or....he'll flush the toilet while I'm in the shower, so the water gets really hot really fast. I think he does it on purpose sometimes!
Other than giving up and living in a bubble somewhere, what can I do???

Ok, I'm married for past 25 years, but recently separated and contemplating divorce for good reason. I met this married man, and we got along great. Saw eachother everyday for several minutes and then started to realize that he was more interested than just a hello here and there. He approached me and we started talking over the phone. He told me he had a serious crush on me, which I didn't really know. Well, soon after that we got intimate (please don't judge, these things happen). It started getting really deep and he backed off, saying that we have such a strong connection and we should just be friends (which I agree, we have such a bond). Ok...no intimacy although conversations get deep sometimes. Didn't see eachother for several months as I relocated. But continued talking everyday over the phone. Saw eachother a handful of times. The one time we met for several hours just hanging out and having lunch, it got really heated and things happened again.

How does she know that? I mean how would anyone know what someone else did in the shower? She checks the shower and watches him and goes "OH, no he is peaing in the shower."
They were advised to see a marriage counselor. So this man has to tell a marriage counselor which is probably a women.
what he does. Hay, man stop it or tell your wife to get a hobby.
Do not have a wife but how many out there do and this is a problem? Are women actually that controlling?
She was complaining how he washed? Come on ladies.
Is this necessary that you give us a how to wash class when we get married?

Here is my last question/comment......
Ok. Here is the story. I am really against abortions and one of our friends is pregnant and is going to get an abortion. I text her and tell her that she will regret it. Told her that I know people that have gotten them and never forgive themselves for it. We went back and forth and got kinda heated. We have not gotten along cuz she sticks her noise where is doesnt belong when it comes to talking to my husband. Anyways i told him that we got in a huge blow out with eachother and dont want him to talk to her anymore. He wasnt supposed to be anyways. To put a very long story short she forwarded a message to him that i wrote her and he called me a b-itch! He admitted to it but kept saying stuff he didnt say when i had proof he said it. Not anything bad like calling me a b-itch but to me lying in a marriage is not a marriage. He is saying sorry and to not leave him but this just put me over the edge this time and i dont know what to do.....

Same questions all the time. I didn't mean to cheat. It just happened. I am so sorry that I cheated.

Come on.......I must be in a bad mood tonight, but there has never been a time that a penis has fallen into my vagina when I didn't mean for it to.
Do you really believe that when someone cheats that it was an accident?!?!?!

I should probably ask this as a poll question. But I am going to ask it here. How many people are in a interracial marriage? And how many people out there still have a problem with interracial marriages?

And just so everyone knows upfront. My marriage is interracial and I am just curious about other peoples view points

My husband and I have been married since May of 2007. He is in the army and has been stationed in Korea since June 2007. He and I used to have great communication, talked about everything, but lately whenever we talk, there is a lot of silence on both sides. I'm at a loss for what to do. I have asked him if anything is the matter, and he says nothing is bothering him or upsetting him. Yet it continues...I don't know how to keep our connection strong with so much distance between us, especially so early in our marriage. Any advice?

I met him 4 yrs. ago, he doesnt have his ged. so i tried to help him bought whatever he needed books, notebooks, even bus pass to go to school. Well 4 yrs, after he still doesnt have a ged. because he cant afford to pay $15 for a transcript but has money to go to san francisco and buy games etc. It gets me mad, because he shows no interest in doing anything other than his video games, but will whine about my job, my car, and what other people have. But yet he wont attempt to do anything about it. we have a baby together and i thought "maybe this will give him a reason to study" but no, i want to be successful and be able to send my child to college, be able to afford health insurance for us. but not him, its a big turn off because i never thought he was so pesimist. It sorta makes me not want to be with him. Any advise?? He also gets mad when i tell him i want to be an accountant, he thinks I'm trying to put him down because he didn't finish high school. But he wont even try.

...how does a person discern the difference in a mate if he's is trying to control you or if he is really wanting to sit and discuss things? He ends up getting mad because we can't come to a solution immediately.

I know a lot of men that are decent hard working that are divorced, and a lot of divorced women. Yet, men seem to never be able to find a women, and women say they can't find a man. Most of the women I know or have seen at work divorce perfectly good men, and then they slowly go down the tubes. Other women even encourage them to "get a divorce" and "take him for everything." Yet, a few years down the road, the guy is either re married or doing well financially, but she has spent all the money, the car she got in the marriage is breaking down 4 years later, and the shingles are falling off the house. It seems so self destructive. Why are women self destructive?

My husband and I always go on a vacation at Christmas. Two years ago, we spent a week in Florida (last year was a week in Hawaii). This year, I thought we'd go visit my grandma and then spend the rest of the week in Florida. A few months ago, some friends said they were going to Argentina and asked if we wanted to go with, but I kind of shrugged it off. Now, my husband says he really wants to go, but I do not. He has an answer for every obstacle, besides the one that I just don't want to go (can't afford it: his mom will pay for our tickets, etc.). He says he just doesn't want to spend any more time in Florida. What's the best solution?
