...the idea of a women keeping or hyphantating her last name when she get married?

If her fiance/husband is cool with it, why is it so wrong?

I knew someone would eventually have to go.

When I told my wife that I was going to get a GF she protested at first, but I did it anyway.

Now I regret it cuz they are always arguing and won't take messages for any other girls that might call me (from work or whatever).

Now I want my wife out but I don't want to have to pay alimony. Does anyone know where I can find a "non-alimony" agreement online that I can get her to sign before I file for divorce? (I don't want to have to pay a lawyer).

Thanks.

Why i felt sad about it? Please help/thanks

The children of seperations should not have to pay the ultimate emotional price for their parents selfishness. If you bring a child into the world, whether deliberate or not, that child is innocent and deserves the love of good loving and emotionally encouraging adults. There's a hard enough road for them to go in life without the added pain of nobody around hold their hand along the way!

Don't get me wrong, some people should not be together and this is better for the kids. I love my kids and sometimes wonder if those separated parents actually stood still for one minute and imagined what each hour was REALLY like for their children without them there to help.......would they consider SPENDING more valuable TIME with them instead of SPENDING MONEY on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you be angry or sad? Could you accept the fact they are that way and still love them? Are would you feel like you had lived a lie for all the years you were together?

What would make a guy leave their wife?
Even if they have kids with her?
Would you do it?
What could the wife possibly have done to him?

My husband had a long history of dating before marrying me. He let me read his diary that related to his exs. It made me very sensitive to his past. He searched his exs once in a while through the internet and told me so. I am not happy with him even thought he told me he is very happy to be with me. And marrying me is the best thing ever happened to him. One of my girlfriends told me that men never forgot the women they slept with. Is this true?

here's the deal. i didnt do a whole lot of stuff wrong in the marriage. i was married before and learned a lot. in my next marriage i was more giving, paid closer attention, gave my wife almost all my free time. thing is it wasn't good enough. she did all the crazy stuff. affair, abortion, grabbed me by the throat once when i refused to listen to her vulger abusive language and told her i won't talk to her until she calms down. now she's divorcing me and is madder than hell after she is the one who left! telling all kinds of lies, cutting my head off of family photos when i told her i won't put up with the lies and abuse and moved her things into the garage for her to pick up (i did this because she was coming in and taking things). now she hates my guts after all that she did! Can someone explain this to me?

My husband has called the police on me 4 times in 10 months. Each time was for a ridiculous reason and the police were concerned for me. The last time he called, I told him to get out. He wants to get back at me for calling the police on him several years ago when he was violent and was sentenced to anger management because of the violence. Ever since then, he has been telling friends and family lies about me and that I am crazy. Everyone is wondering why he speaks so poorly of me. I am now just finding out about his active criticism behind my back. He has even told people he wants to have me committed or put in jail. I have done nothing wrong. My question is do you think I should leave or try and get him to a psychiatrist. He is also extremely argumentative and critical. We have been through group couples counseling. At the end of our time together all the couples and therapists were concerned for me because he always talked about himself and not our marriage. I am in therapy.

What a lovely man I married. I won't set him any chores after 5pm so he can take me out for my surprise birthday meal- Pie and chips-at "The Amorous Ferret," our local: My favourite meal. Boris does complain sometimes that I ought to get a more refined taste and try and be more feminine too. I never went to finishing school in Switzerland-and I expect you can tell. I used to help my dad deliver coal when I were a youngster and I still have a muscular, toned "BOD" to keep Boris on his toes. Any way-to my question: Do you think I ought to take lessons in ladylike deportment and dress as Boris suggests? I do want to please him. I know all my neighbours view me as a husband bashing, nagging old battleaxe with a tongue like a lash. Do you think I can change dear reader? I want to develop 'the gentle touch'. Can it be done? Please help. Any suggestions given serious consideration. Thank you.

There's this guy at my job, we've been working together for a few weeks, and he's pretty friendly to everyone here, but he's a little more nicer to me.For instance, he's always asking me 'What am I doing for the weekend"? And he asked me on several occasions "What do I usually do when I leave work" or he'll ask me if I 'm going to see this movie" or if I had been such an such place to eat And on top of everytime he's in my office He shakes my chair, especially today..He shook it really hard this time and for a long time, then yesterday he walked by my office and I heard and him say"Oh you're so pretty" but I'm not really sure he was talking too..there was noone here except me..so I'm not really sure about this one...can someone tell me

My husband had this married couple for friends before I came into the picture, when I first met them they seemed ok and we became friends also. Over the years I have come to realize that the woman is a back stabber and is two faced, for example she calls my husband and tells him that I call her and start fusses w/ her when she and her husband both have came to my house and started fusses w/ me. My husband goes to their house and I am not welcome there. My husband gets upset with me when I say anything negative about them at all.I have ask him why he wants to be friends with them and me not be included but all I get is a ill response. I am afrais that their medeling will someday drive a wedge between us that I can not undo. I love my husband and have always told him that I didnt want to take over his life,I just wanted him to scoot over and let me share it with him. From a guys point of view what should I do. I dont want to ruin my marriage and dont want them as freinds either.

My boyfriend and I were discussing lastnames and marriages and we've come up with three options:

My last name is McDowall his is Roberts

1. We go by McDowall-Roberts
2. We go by McRoberts
3. He goes by Roberts and I go by McDowall-Roberts

Which do you all think?

I don't "just wanna take Roberts" because I like my lastname and will feel like I'm dishonouring my family name by dropping it.

Any children that we will have will take his lastname (Roberts) unless we choose to go with McRoberts.

What circumstances would lead you to settle for someone you knew you did not want to marry? Did you learn to love him/her or not? Are you still married?

Please be descriptive. I have time to listen. Thank you.

Heres my story... its a grown up- non kid question
Dated twin A, she is beautiful and kind, twin B beautiful but the "evil twin". Years pass, madly in love with twin A. Twin B goes to college and comes back nice. All along Twin A and B have been very close, good sisters to each other.
Twin A and B are not too different in personality, they do different things but are both beautiful and good. Now i move in with Twin A, Twin B moves into town nearby to be close to twin A. Me, exposed to twin B and her new likeable attitude. Begin to confuse emotions between Twin A and B. Attempt to ignore. Twin B has many times demonstrated interest in me. I get a job rather far off and buy a house an hour away. It hurts me to seperate the twins because I know they are good for each other, but I also realize twin B is doing me no good.
--question -- should I do anything? Should I tell my now wife, ive got issues seperating emotions? They wont fight with each other, they arethat close
