Let's be realistic. No one has to be too bad at anything. If you had a choice to pick, would you pick a woman who is beautiful with a good personality or one who is average looking, clever and funny?

I know this is a real catchy question? But seriously< all that is getting out of hand. Somebody need to get tired and say, hey, Iam just gonna wait for marriage. Aids is speading more and more< and people are cheating more and more. People dont seem to have any self control. Some people dont even care who they sleep with, just so long they just cool off. Men disrepecting woman. Lowering your standard, eventually you will have to pay a great price for your actions. God honor marriage, but people dont really seem to care about each other anymore. So much cheating and breaking up, and then some turn around a sleep with someone else the next day or nest week. It is sad< really someone needs to stand up and say, I've had enough< iam gonna wait until marriage.

I am having a hard time with my boyfriend being gone. Does anyone have any suggestions about ways to cope? I know the first thing on everyone's mind is to go see a doctor but I have white coat syndrom. So any suggestions that I can do myself would be great. Thank you!

I too believe that sex should not be the foundation of a marriage. I think it is a very important part of the marriage, don't get the wrong, but I think that you should love, respect, trust and honor your spouse first and THEN sex will fall right into place. But if so many people say sex shouldn't be the foundation of a marriage, why are so many people getting divorced because of it?

You hear so many people complaining about sex on here, in conjunction with other issues (cheating, lying, etc.). Why are people to tuned into sex? Shouldn't they try to work out the other problems first? Just a thought.

I was married to my first husband for 5 yrs., had two beautiful children, little girl 7 yrs. old now, little boy 5 yrs. old now, he was never home, never helped me with the house and only did things with me and the kids when it was convienent for him. We have been divorced now for 4 yrs., I am currently engaged to another man that I have been with for three years, he is wonderful to my children and wonderful to me, the problem is, that we constantly fight over my ex. The reason being because my ex is still a huge part of my kids life, he is still a good dad to them even if it is every other weekend. No thats not to say that for a long time the ex did what he was supposed to do with the kids, he just now started paying child support after 4 yrs. and well for a long time, he wouldn't even try to be around the kids. My fiance now has not forgotten this and still proceeds to downgrade the ex, every chance he gets. I just want my kids to be happy, and for my fiance to get along with my ex.

I have a partner who I am strongly starting to believe is a narcissist, I had never heard of this condition before but the more I read the more I believe it is a very real part of my partners makeup. He knows that he says the crulest things to me and just waits for me to react to the spiteful and hurtful things he says. If i react he's happy and wants to be all lovey dovey if i don't react he keeps going until he makes me cry. We have been through a lot together in the last five years but he doesn't treat me very well though and I would never have taken half of the stuff he does from any other man. Why does this man constantly dissapoint me and treat me with disrespect when I have done all I can for him and am the backbown of our relationship. He knows he's doing it but doesn't know how to stop. He says he has no control over this, but i can't understand it. do you?

I found that some of my husband's condoms are missing. I know how many he had last time we went away for a weekend. He keeps taking a supply with him whenever the two of us go away for a night or so. I have asked him why in the past......he gets defensive and says it's for my benefit (so that I don't fall pregnant etc) but we hardly ever use a condom normally. Am I being paranoid? Or am I a fool?

She has been very straight up and honest with me about how she wants to divorce him since we've had our affair. I love her very much and she is a wonderful lady, but my question is this: How do I know she is faithfull to me? Should I spy on her or hire a private detective to see if she is telling the truth?
I met her husband last weekend and he was in the bathroom when we on my bed making out. We didn't know he was there and he got mad and punched my garage. I don't think she's having sex with him because when they were here, she wanted to make out with me in front of him all the time. What should I do! And yes, even if she is, I'd still take her back.

So, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years. We've talked about marriage lightly and have mutally agreed it's what we want for our relationship in the future. However, we haven't done an concrete planning. I know some of my friends all ready know they want 2 kids, what town they want to live in and when they want to get married; they all have been in relationship for about the same amount of time or less. I'm not jealous, nor do I feel pressured b/c they are ahead of me.
I have a lot of things going for me, that they don't (career wise) So, no need to be jealous.

So, I'm just putting out there the "status" of our marriage talk. Well lately it's something I've been finding is more and more on my mind. I really want to talk about it more and even start planning a little bit.

However, everytime I try talking about I get really emotional. Mainly b/c I try bring it up in mild conversation before hand. I don't want to put him in the hot seat about it. So, I do that

What does this mean for my marriage?

2007-10-02 15:59:56 · 27 answers · asked by Anonymous

When is it okay for me to break down? How long should a man have to go being rejected? If your man shared the work around the house, and in all actuality probably did 70/30 of it (laundry, dishes, etc.), gave the kids their baths, got them ready for school in the morning, worked twice as many hours as you, brought home three times as much on payday and never missed a day letting you know how incredibly god-damned attractive you were, would you be attracted to him? Would you want to have sex with him? More than once a week?, More frequently than after he's been moping around for three days, just so he can last 90 seconds after going down on you for 40 minutes. Would you at least sit by him on the couch, hold his hand, not push him away when he snuggles up to you in bed? Would you kiss him in church?

Even after you'd talked until being blue in the face about it, how long would you expect your man to go before breaking?

I only want serious answers. I am at the end of my rope.

I got an email asking for dinner ideas for a newly divorced dad looking for some recipes for him and the kids. From the email I gathered he had full custody. So I put together a few quick tips, an idea or two about a weekly meal plan and even some shopping tips. After I sent the email I started wondering what the answer crowd would have suggested for easy meals for divorced/single parents.

I am a neighbour to a personin my building who has a wife and a 2 1/2 yr olf daughter. I know the family for 4 years now and we are close. The husband is a good friend of mine the wife is not a close person to me. The child is wonderful and I love her alot. The husband has invited me to come along with his wife and child to India to be with his family for 6 weeks at xmastime and meet everyone. He says that all I need to pay for is my airfare and have some spending money. His family is wealthy and live in North India and have a dairy and poultry farm. I am wondering what an Indian family would think about a single women coming along with their family and living with them for 6 weeks. I do not speak Hindi and I do not eat spicy Indian food. My friend has informed me that the kitchen servants cook anything and can prepare my food as i request. I am part of the family my friend says. he says I am in his "heart" and he likes me to be part of his family. I am wondering if I should accept.
