Possibly ask her mother because there's a good chance her mom has a good idea of what size she is. If that doesn't work, take her to the store and buy her a cute little inexpensive ring. Just tell her you thought she might like a nice ring to know you love her. Then, you can find out her size and she probably wont think too much of it since it's just a normal ring.

Ask her mother. Or if no one knows, you need an accomplice, a sister or a friend hers to offer a few inexpensive fashion rings (like the $7 silver ones they have that are trendy) to her saying something like "I was going through my old jewelry and was wondering if you would like any of these. They're all different sizes because my weight is up and down all the time." Her friend could estimate a ring size and you could get three or so rings to try. Just make sure the style is different enough and that you have a picture or other record of which ring is which size. Which ever one she takes is what size her finger is.

Mmmm. That's tricky. Women have a 6th sense about this sort of thing, too.
You might have to borrow a ring from her jewelry box when she's not looking, and take it to the jeweler to check the size.
Or just get a ring in an average size and after you give it to her it can be properly sized. She'll understand, and she'll be so happy she won't care. So don't worry!

If you ask her about her ring size, she will get suspicious. If she happens to have a ring fitted to her ring finger, you might be able to sneak it over to the jewelry store to see what size it is. But most people get the ring properly sized after the proposal.

well when she's not looking. Go and get one of her rings that she wears, and take it to the jeweler and have them get the size.. but choose at least 1/2 size bigger because you never know.

ok, here's what you do. get hold of another one of her rings, don't take it...she'll notice it gone, instead, trace the inside of the ring on paper. Bring this to your jeweler and they should be able to use a ring sizer to match it.
Be sure you trace a ring that she wears on her ring finger.

try her ring on yourself ( i know it won't fit),see where it fit on your finger, doesn't matter if it fits half way. remember the position, go to your jeweller, they should have a set of sizer , try them on ,,,see which one give you the same position as the one you tried on earlier. that's how i teach my client in order to get ring size discreetly in order to surprise their GF
