We have the same foundation in that she and I believe we don;t have to be a perfect fit and we don;t have to see everything the same. We respect each others differences for the most part...plus I am attracted to her like no other woman ever...I was single a long time between marriages and enjoyed it, but I just like my wife - even when we are not doing anything real special. Just the comfort of her presence means more than anything. I really like her alot. If she gets run over by a truck I won't ever date again or get married. There just isn;t anyone else for me.

I have so many good memories! I know his favorite, and one of my favorites, was his birthday this year. We spent it mostly at home... we went out to his favorite pizza place, then I surprised him at home with a cake and little hats and stuff. It was so kid-like, but he loved it so much! He was so happy, I couldn't help but be happy to. We just enjoyed each other all day, and it was great.

Last month we went out together to a hotel and ordered a romantic package, though. It was a nice hotel, they brought a fish to the room, sparkling cider, bubble bath... truffles... we watched a movie, swam, and had an AWESOME night. In the day previous we went to a science center and played around for a while, checked out the exhibits. It seems like no matter where we go, we can find fun things to do, and that was one of those times.

About 6 years ago there was a lightning storm in the late summer. It was at night and warm outside. I suggested we go watch it. We drove out to the country and parked near a canal. We walked west on the canal bank watching the purple lightning chain react across the sky ahead of us. The storm moved overhead and the warm rain began. We walked in our bare feet letting the rain drench us watching the spectacular light show. There was one bolt that was extrordinary. It actually formed a broken circle in the center and branched off, it kinda looked like a spider. We watched the storm over us until it moved toward, over and then past us.
That was an awesome night.

I have been married for 12 years. My wife and I went out for supper last Friday night, this is our date night since she goes to school and I work seven days a week, and the restaurant had these cards with questions we can ask each other. We just tried to guess each others answer, and it made for a good time. It was almost like we just started to date.

My favourite memory was from before we were married. My husband took me to the jewelers to have a look at some earrings but when we got there he turned around and said "will you marry me" then told me to pick out whichever ring I wanted. Was the most romantic day of my life.

Well, Yahoo will banish me if I share too many details, but I can tell you that after years of sharing my fantasy, he made it come true. It involved a hotel in a strange town and several other beautiful people I knew I would never see again. Whew!

The moment he saw me and our first son for the first time. The look on his face and the sound of his voice was precious.
