my husband cheated on me for a whole year with another woman. i have suggested counseling to get help us move on, but he refuses to go, saying that he does not want to re-live the experience. i am trying to work it out with him because i love him, and i dont want to ruin our child's life. But, i am still suffering and am unable to get over the affair. I have tried church, praying, and we even tried counseling before i knew for sure that he had cheated (but he refuses to go now). I feel that the only way i can truly get over it is just to go cheat on him, and then maybe i would feel better, more desirable, and atleast i would have gotten even and maybe even some enjoyment :) i have been faithful to him the whole time, but am thinking about cheating with someone from work. what should i do?

He seems happy in our marriage. I thought about leaving him after only 6 months, but now our 5 year anniversary is coming up.
He doesn't seem interested in sex very often. I know he enjoys being with me. But I don't feel that special bond.
I feel like I am only with him because I can't bear the lonliness of being single. He is just okay. I my first husband liked sex. I never imagined that if I married a man because I was lonely...that he wouldn't be interested in sex.
I am very resentful. If I was young I would leave but I am over menapause..althougth I wasn't went I married him.

ok im 22 going on 23 and my boyfriend of 2 years is turning 25 soon. We somehow got on the marriage topic and he says that he wants and intends to marry ME one day, and wants to have a family with me but he definitely does not see it happening when we are in our 20's. He says he wants it when we reach our 30's. I've always been mature for my age and although i myself am not ready to marry today or any immediate time i definitely want to get to that level in my 20's..he assures me he's sure i'm the ONE..but we really disagree on the time-frame..do u think he will change his mind one day? or its a done deal that he has written off marriage and family to the 30's? Am i wasting my time if i stick with him for the next few years and we still don't move to the next level?

I was late getting my period last week (though I did eventually get it), but my partner got REALLY worried about it. He is divorced, and doesn't think he wants any more kids or to get remarried. I don't need a marriage certificate to feel like I'm in a solid, committed relationship, and at 27, still don't want to be a parent.

I was worried by his reaction, though. I don't want kids now, but am concerned that I might feel the urge eventually. He's only 32, and I think the failure of his first marriage has scared him out of that particular type of committment and family life. Is that permanent? I don't mind not getting married, but have no idea if I will feel that way in 5 or 10 years...

Should I be worried? Is this a compromise that many couples have to make?

We've been together for a total of 7 yrs and married 4. We have a 3yr old and a 2. He has lots of friends, which most of them are Divorcees. They work together and see each other every weekend, and DRINK! too. Its been worse since we've been married. He's 7yrs older than me and still won't mature up?! The alcohol has lead him to be more and more disrespectful towards me (verbaly) with threats. He tells me everytime we talk about this issue, that if I don't like it ,than leave.

WE HAVE TRIED TO RECONCILE BUT AS SOON AS HE FEELS AS THOUGH I AM DISRESPECTING HIM OR DON'T SHOW HIM ANY LOVE THEN HE TELLS ME THAT GOD IS NOT IN THIS RELATIONSHIP AND WE HAVE GET OUT OF THE WAY OF GOD DOING HIS WORK. OH BY THE WAY MY HUSBAND IS BIPOLAR. WE HAVE BEEN SEPERATED FOR 18 MONTHS. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO GET A DIVORCE WITHOUT HIS SIGNATURE AND HOW COSTLY CAN THIS BE? WE BOTH RESIDE INPA. My Husband is such a Brat. He has just turned 30 and I am hoping that he will stop throwing temper tantrums. I can't drive and depend on him taking me places. When I have an appointment for example, I am always late but if it was for him we would be early. He hasn't spoke to me today because the petrol light came on this morning just as he was going out and apparently it is my fault. But that hasn't stopped him playing games on my Mobile all-day He finds any excuse for a fight. It is like living with another child. Does anyone else have a partner like mine or is mine just really slow at maturing? I have a disability and depend on him doing things for me that I can't, so I am stuck with him all the time.

How much do you guys REALLY care about your step kids? Especially boys, and what if you happen to have one of your own with the woman that has brought a little boy into the marriage.?(The "father" of the child is not in the picture, meaning the kid doesnt know him).

Long story short she now wants to see if we can work things out. Problem is I started seeing someone recently whom I like. After 10 months apart is it possible to save a marriage with that amount of time invested? The first 7 months all I did was ask for her to give the marriage a chance, therapy, counseling, anything with no results and now out of the blue she wants to try. I do not believe she knows I have been dating so jealousy is not the motivator. HELP!

The "donor" of my 3 year old daughter is not and has not ever been involved in her life. I did tell him when I first found out I was pregnant. He suggested an abortion. We did communicate for the first couple of months of my pregnancy with how to proceed. He wanted nothing to do with the baby. He soon married someone and I learned more about his lifestyle in which I do not want my child. I have no hard feelings toward him and wish him well. He has had no contact with my daughter and I've not asked for any contribution to her support. I would like to make sure he doesn't come back 5 years from now and suddenly want to be a dad. He is not on her birth certificate, but I know he could use DNA tests to prove his relationship to her. I believe he would sign something saying he will not pursue this as long as I never ask for support. Can I draw up an agreement to this effect? Does anybody know where I could find a sample? Does it have to go before the court?

My husband and I are going to be getting a divorce. He is moving out of our home to another place. The apartment that we currently rent is too expensive for me to pay for by myself, and I don't want to get into a roommate situation, as I have a 2-year old son. My question is, is there any sort of legal way to get out of the lease for this place, so I am not stuck paying out the remainder of the lease on a place I can't afford? Any other advice is certainly welcome, too!

He has had anger and addiction problems for years...he has made my life difficult. Recently we had an argument that resulted in my broken nose...court is coming up and if he is convicted, he will violate his probation and be gone for 2 to 5! he is blaming me...and inside I'm happy he's almost gone. My children are hurting though and I feel guilty..I threw the first blow.

Yesterday, I received a very vulguar telephone call from my ex-husband on my cell phone. He is very angry that the Child Support Division started deducted money from his payroll check.
He is over $5000 behind, so they took out the monthly amount plus extra for the arrearage amount.
The telephone call was so bad, that I made a police report for it to be on file with them.
The police officer felt it was kind of petty, but it is a big issue to me. I am trying to cover myself, just in case something happens.

Does anyone know of any other effective type of ways to deal with the harrassing phone calls?
I have changed my cell phone number once before because of calls from him, but I am a little reluctant to change the number because my kids have finally memorized this number.
As far as I know you can't block calls from coming in on your cell phone, or can you?

He has a warrant, and suspended license, lives in another state. If he is picked up they will bring him back here. Our children are suppose to go see him this summer. If he gets picked up while the kids are in his care, I am afraid I might either get a call from foster care people or I will have to somehow come up with the money to go and get them. Any input would be helpful.
