After all these years, we still giggle alot, take pleasure in each others company, enjoy life and always look to the future.
I`m a little light in the head due to the rum n coke but am cooking my wife a steak dinner later. Would anybody like to wish us a Happy Anniversary and give us a star for it.....

to those of you who have asked what the secret of a long and happy marriage is,this is my answer,,
There is no secret,Iknew within 3 days of meeting that we were to be married,accept each others faults but ignore them ,my wife still laughs when I make those Airfix kits and throw them out the window to see if they will fly,I laugh at my wifes childish behaviour even though she is 49,(she woke me up speaking German in her sleep!!) but you will know when you meet your soul mate and it is that, that you will want for evermore,many thanks to everyone,we have nearly drunk the bottle of rum and are looking at the beer and white wine now!!!!!!!

ooh dear i`me a little sloshed now but had to add this bit,,,my parents died when I was quite young so never knew my wifes daughter (my stepdaughter)but I know they would have been so proud of her as am I.I just wish they could have known my wife and thier grand daughter

Happy Anniversary and congratulations! My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary next month and we're going to see Motley Crue to celebrate!
I so agree with your 'recipe' for a happy relationship - my husband is my best friend and we are constantly making each other laugh, we've joked that if anyone was a fly on the wall in our house they'd think we were mad! We watched Eurovision the other night and although it was terrible we had such fun drinking loads of beer and laughing our a$$es off at the whole thing!
We knew really quickly we were going to be together forever and I can't imagine one day without my hubby now - I'll raise a glass to you and say 'Cheers'!
(now you have permission to go and vomit - I just read that back and it's a bit cheesy!!)

Happy anniversary, glad you're enjoying it! It's very refreshing to hear that you're both really happy and contented together,makes a change these days. I know what you mean by a soul mate, I've found mine, we stick together through the good and bad times, and we have had more than our fair share of bad lately.
