Our son is very young and when dad cancels coming to pick him up for the weekend he has a very hard time with it, He thinks his dad is lieing to him like before, But I'm not sure he is able to handle the truth. Before dad was diagnosed he would make promises and not keep them now he has a legitament reason for not coming to pick him up but he dosnet know. So i have him in counseling now but telling him the truth may be too much so let him go on thinking dad is lieing about coming to pick him up? when dad is realy having his cancer treatments?

My boyfriend and I have been on and off for 3 1/2 years and have fought throught alot. We both seem to have done alot of growing and maturing. I told him that im dating to find my husband and he said he's ready to settle down. He also said that he prayed about it and asked for a sign and that me coming back into his life he takes as a sign that im his one. Everyone around me doesnt really know him except my brother who after praying thinks he's a good guy while everyone else is saying no. I am inlove with him and really want him to be the one but am extremely afraid that he isnt and am scared that we'll hit a big rock and he'll wanna split.

im 21 and he is THE best guy anybody could ever get....
im serious... hes gorgeous, well educated, funny, desired by ANY woman who lays eyes on him, and he is a respectful, peaceful, VERY faithful guy...
AND... he adores me and everything about me,..

weve been going out for 3 years and he wants to get married... he is 29...

but my friends are going crazy going to every party, meeting and flirting with random guys, traveling together and having fun... i kind of want a little of that...
but i know id have to give in to my relationship...

SHOULD i risk him or does this "crazy partying phase" stop and i wont regret it?

My husband and I haven't been married for very long. When we were just dating, we did things all the time. Now, we're married and we only have sex if he initiates it. I try to initiate it and he pushes me away. If I dress up and look really nice, he doesn't look at me with desire or even say something that makes me feel good, unless other guys are looking at me. He says that if I want sex twice a week, that's too much. We only do things once a month, sometimes more if I complain. I keep myself up, I used to be a model. I don't mean to sound conceited, but whenever I go out I stop traffic.

i have been separated/divorced now for almost 5 years.(was married for 16 yrs) it was a very sudden thing when my ex decided he shoould have married his friend from high school so after i figured out something was going on he told me he was leaving no wanted to try nothing.( we very rarely fought) i was devastated and i think am still in love with him even though i am very mad at times with him. my kids were 11,14and 14 when we separated he still had contact any time he wanted but most of the time too busy for them either working or taking off to go see her.now they are married and my kids have spent some time with them. my daughter wants to invite his new wife to her graduation from a 2 yr college but i am not comfortable with seeing my ex and his new wife together. i would rather she didnt go. i am afraid i will just be hurt all over again

I was wanting some last night and didn't get it, then he was going to give it me this morning and our daughter woke up.
Then I go into our bedroom like 10 minutes later to get my laundry and he just finished.
Why would he do that instead of doing me?

a father of two kids, he picks them up at school every day since they started school and even after he had separated with the kids' mom. after the separation the two agrees (verbally) to have the kids every other week, both now in relationship with other people and now after the guy had gotten married with the current partner, the mother of the kids all of a sudden forbids him to pick up their kids from school and also had threatened him that she'd call the police if he comes around them. the guy knows that just a matter of time until she files for custody aswell, so he went and filed in court and has a summon for custody to serve her. but he fears now that if he gives her the paper he really wont be able to see his kids at all until judgment has been served in court. also, rumor has it that she might send kids to other state. should he get emergency restraining order as well protecting kids and his wife and him and serve summon at the same time? buys time to spend with his kids?

Was with her for 6 years, 2 of which we were married before she left. Its been 7 months and still everyday is a battle...when does it end? I am doing everything right. Hanging out with people, going to the gym, working alot, going to church, taking trips with the church but I still don't feel connected with people. Even been on a date or two. I still feel so empty and hopeless about 90% of the time. Is there a time table?? Thanks.

I'm a professional man living in san diego, and wondering why california laws have it so easy for women to take advantage of hard working men. I've been divorced for 5 years and was married for 11, after 5 years of divorce my ex wife still has not attempted to better her life (education, training, job) i pay both spousal support and child support. When we divorced i paid her a settlement of $150,000 (not including monthly support) and guess what she's living from pay check to pay check with the $8000 a month i give her! How can you be broke with that money? Some women do not get anything! i'm planning to take her to court in a couple years to end the spousal support. This marriage was planned, this divorce was planned she knew that my career would hit and played me. It's riduculous to know that i'm paying for a GROWN woman, ladies what do you think? Are most women like this? And why are the laws like this? i could understand if i was a cheater, or an abuser, or a bad person!

My step children's mother has a drug problem causing my husband to have sole custody of their two children since they were babies. A few years ago she became clean and sober. The kids wanted to visit with her. We tentatively agreed to short visits becoming longer with each consecutive visit. She proved to be serious about staying clean for the kids, so we let them live with her tentatively. She needed to enroll the kids in school, and to get them medical care in emergencies, so we agreed to have a lawyer draw up papers giving her guardianship. We made it clear we weren't giving up rights since she wasn't 100 percent reliable. The youngest is now living in a crack house with her, and the oldest is staying with a friend refusing to live around the drugs. We want the kids out of there. They want us to get them back. We have custody, but now to our horror find guardianship trumps it. She refuses our visitation. So can the lawyer reverse the papers without having to pay 3,000?

What if you forgive the person totally, but still cant trust them? Is it wrong to be a little suspicious? How can you tell if it is intuition warning you that they are lying to you or just the mistrust leftover from the last lie?

I fell in love with a guy who told me he was a single dad who's ex was a horrible mother and drug addict....come to find out he is a liar and is MARRIED....as if this isn't bad enough i just found out I am pregnant! I know married men NEVER leave their wives especially when they have children with them, but I just can't bring myself to have an abortion either, I have tried all week to talk myself into one for the sake of his wife and children. I called the abortion clinic to find out info and couldnt even bring myself to finish the conversation without crying and hanging up. What should I do? I am in a horrible situation and I know I only have myself to blame for believing his lies but that doesn't help me now.....

I had an existing pre marriage credit card with small balance when I met my husband. After my husband and I got married, we put his debts that he had from before we even met, onto my card. If we divorce, will I be partially responsible? We live in California.

I have been seeing a married man for for 2 years now. We are very much in love we talk on the phone for hours almost every day. He says he is unhappy at home, he doesn't love his wife, but he loves his 2 kids very much .He has himself in a bad finacial situation. He says he can not live on his own until he gets some bills paid off . I know he has some stocks that he could sell to pay off some bills, but he says that if he does that he won't have any money when he leaves her. "What's the difference "I say. At least some of your debt. is paid off. I love him very much and I know he loves me . It is not just sex ,because we don't see each other that often.,but we talk everyday. He says he needs to get his "Ducks in a row" before he leaves . How long should I wait ? Should I just say good-bye?
