Mind you we have been married for 2 years and have a 3 month old baby. He typed her name into a search engine and found her last year. They have been exchanging pics and emails all the time ever since. I sneaked into his emails yesterday and found a couple of pics of her. I also found a letter (long letter from her) where they talked about their past, even though she is also currently married and lives in another country now. Does this mean he never had any closure with her and is still secretly and emotionally attached to her? Why is he doing this and keeping it from me? Is he bored with me?

I just asked a question and some told me that I was being a mother to my husband instead of a wife.
Will, then what is a wife. As a wife how can I be there for my husband? He cheated on me, had a baby with his X-wife, I'm still there showing him and telling him that I love him. I don't understand, please someone out there tell me, what is a wife. Let me add on we do not have any children together. I have four from my late husband.

My fiance is a minister and really is being faithful with not having premarital sex...............(Yea.....I finally got a real one!!!) Anyway, we are planning a wedding for June 2007. Uh..........we can't wait that long! So we are planning a secret ceremony to become legal. The reason I suggested this is because I want to have a traditional wedding with the works. But, I want everyone to be excited about it and I feel that if they already know that we are married, they won't be that excited and it may bring me down. I don't want to feel this way........so we are going to elope next month. My thing is........I want to have my real wedding in Mississippi. So, if we elope in Illinois where he lives what will my pastor do when he wants to sign the marriage license? Can I apply for another license in Mississippi even though we are already married? I hope I make sense!!! Please help!!!!

I have a very insecure husband, of course I blame him for that, because he did cheat on me and now he thinks I'm going to go and do the same thing. I try to be so positive with him, I hug him, kiss him tell him how handsome he is, but no matter what I say or do he reacts with negative remarks. What else can I do to show him that I love him and only want to be with him. It has gotten to the point where I can't even go to the stores with my children, if he does not go I can't go. I don't want out on my marriage I want to work things out but I am really getting tired over these arguements which is on a daily basis... Help, any tips on how else to show him my love....... Especially any men out there....

He knows I like him.I know he likes me.We don't talk about our feelings, its just one of those things you know when it happens.(we have shared the most intimate moments, staring deeply into each other's eyes, talking while both being unable to control our huge smiles, holding each other close, even letting ourselves get carried away with the most intense kissing)We are both in relationships with someone else,so we know that we could never be 2gether.He keeps telling me that he can't do it anymore, but keeps going back on his word.Although he keeps telling me this,he is always the one to make the first move(saying "my feelings for you haven't changed."moving in for a hug, or just flat out kissing me)That's what happened the last time we saw each other, the emotion between us felt so strong&He said "I'll see you soon."!Now he's been avoiding me for the past week,Why? I can't get him out of my head.I am so hurt and I feel like this is all a game to him

And I'm not talking about financial, economical or social. I mean for the individuals. How is getting married better than being single, or even just maintaining a monogamous relationship?

For example, do you know anyone in an open relationship? Do you know any couples with huge age gaps? etc, etc.

My boyfriend and I have known each other four 12 years. We have been a couple for 2 years. We were going to be married on June 4, 2005. But we never did it. We have a beautiful daughter together who is 9 months old. He says that I am his wife to everyone, and that we are soul mates and all. But why have we not gone to get the real title?? I think he is scared to make it offical. What do you think?

I work with a married woman (I'm married too) who will be leaving the state in less than 2 months. Her husband is a bit controlling of her (monitors her phone, etc). She and I expressed our mutual attraction for each other at a work function a few ago. Since then, we've been out to lunch & last week she told me she'd like to go out for drinks after work this week after she returned to town from a trip with her husband. This week she basically told me that she enjoys my company too much to risk going out for drinks again. She & I both know this could turn sexual. The way I figure it, she'll be starting a whole new life in 2 months across the country. How can I convince her to live it up with me before she moves across country with her controlling husband? I Would appreciate responses from women who have walked this line. What would convince you? If she were just beautiful, this wouldn't be a problem, but I find her intelligent too & I can't resist that combo.

Recently I have heard from several different people that they engage in premarital sex because they want to test drive their partner out before they take the plunge and get married. They claim they want to know that everything works well and don't want to get stuck (in marriage) with someone who can't satisfy them.

My questions are.....
1. Would you really give up a wonderful person who is everything you want and need, but is lousy in bed just because they are lousy in bed?

2. For those of you who waited to have sex until marriage....do you regret it? Were you disappointed sexually? Were you that disappointed that you would divorce the person or have sex outside of your marriage?

Would you tell your wife or girlfriend if you didn't like her hairstyle? Perfume? Clothes?

Why or why not?

I am not talking about relationships in which there is abuse - but relationships in which people grow apart and one party is not committed enough to work it out. One person has an affair and the other person is destroyed. One person jumps into a serious relationship with the "other woman/man" and believes they have now found the person who they will spend the rest of their lives with. The other person has absolutely nothing to give emotionally. How does a married couple, who could predict each others thoughts, get so far apart? Who is crazier - the person who moves on immediately or the one who does not? Or do we all just go a little crazy until we accept what has happened and truly moved on with no bitterness, anger or hurt?

My husband and I have been married for 6 years. When we were still just dating he and I had sex everynight. Literally, the night we got married that all ended. It started out as once a week for the first couple of months, then once a month for the next year after that, and from there it has progressed to once every 2-3 months. I think porn is the problem. He has been watching it since he was 6 (yeah I know that is wrong) and while he has tried to give it up several times it never works. I have tried watching it with him, buying it for him, and acting out those scenes, which all work only once. I am attractive and in good shape, as is he, so I doubt it's physical. If he loves the porn so much why did he bother to get married? Why do any men get married? They will always want another woman, so what is the point?

They met in rehab, one was addicted to coke, the other is addicted to alcohol. The girl was obsessed with having a baby and getting married. She is 22. The fella just had a divorce less then a year ago, he is 29. The girl is on the rebound in rehab, never been married. Both were born into wealthy families. Father of the girl abandoned her never to talk to the girl again, and mother married into money, yet her mom's family is wealthy also. Girl got pregnant after three months of dating, wanted to keep the baby. They get married after 8 months of dating so not to have the child out of wedlock . They had a 'dry' wedding. It's been almost two years since they first 'met'. The man promised gifts to the girl, showing wedding rings, promising the world. Girl is easily influenced. Girl was bulimic for 5 years before rehab. Addictive Personality. So is the man.

What are their chances it will last?

Do you tend to automatically take the side of your own child? Or in fighting the urge to do so, do you find yourself taking the side of your stepchild?

(Both children are five years old.)
